    Huh? There have been increased steals across the league. Sox were really caught with their pants down though. No teams in 2022 averages a steal per game. In 2023, there are 11 teams averaging at least a steal a game.

    My biggest concern with Bloom is the title of the post. 2020 Rotation - s***. One of the two worst rotations in the league. 2021 Rotation - Low key not great aside from Nate! ERod, Richards, Perez all had ERA+ under 100. Success was just health luck. 2022 Rotation - Parade of Injured Pitchers and Ineffectiveness. If the rotation struggles this season, there's question on if Bloom knows how to build a rotation. W

    If he left early, he would have to pay back all his financial obligations. That's why he was filing for the the exemption.

    Dalbec has started at 3B, SS and 1B in WOO. WOO Manager: “For right now, he’ll play mostly in the infield, but I told him, for the time being, when you’re done in the infield and you’re feeling good, get out and shag some fly balls at the corner outfield spots,” Tracy said. “We’re trying to maximize his ability so he’s able to play different spots. For now we’ll toy with him getting reps and getting balls off the bat and getting used to reads in the corner, and we’ll see where it’s at as far as games there.” He's also wearing prescription glasses while hitting now.

    To me, he's lower on the pecking order. If I'm managing the Sox, I'm not sure he's a setup guy going forward.

    How aside from repaying for his schooling? He asked for multiple exemptions. He was denied each time until this time.

    Ferguson hit 181 in Greenville last year... Getting 51 SB's in Low A isn't a big deal in the least. He is unranked in the SoxProspects top 60. Abreu and Hamilton aren't projected to have an impact on this season's roster.

    And that % is even higher if you go to Navy. Sad! Since 1979, Navy has had 3 seasons where the football program has had a .750 winning % or better.

    I'm going to disagree that Schreiber is too good. His velo has ticked back down to pre-2022 levels. There's a good chance that he was a one year wonder. Ort, Kelly and Crawford are the easiest to move down right now.

    Wrong! It goes back to 1892. The various rules around it have slightly changed over the years. Cecil Cooper was taken in the 1970 Rule 5 draft by the Cardinals but was sent back to the Sox.

    The Navy let Joe Cardona skip his assignment right out of college to just be a long snapper for the Patriots. They did the same for Keenan Reynolds in the same NFL Draft.

    I think some may want to explore both. They'll have to pick one over the other prior to going to school.

    If Sale struggles in his next few starts, it'll be hard to keep Bello down. Crawford is probably up and down as needed. Can keep him in the rotation in WOO. Ort should have 2 innings and a 0.00 ERA right now.
