I'm on the record as saying it will happen this year. This is similar to the path that Devers followed. It just entirely depends on him mashing early on. I don't think they should promote him due to injury, but due to him being ready. I've heard that his approach is good enough to work at higher levels, so I think it wouldn't set him back. It's more likely that he finishes this year in POR, but I'm still leaning towards him having a monster year.

For Wacha and Profar, I can see why they want to hold out for the best offer. Andrus has already received a big contract in his career.

He’s made more money than 99.9% of people will make in their lifetimes. Maybe he’s ready to take it easy unless the money is really worthwhile?

Dombrowski had no say in those INTL guys. That's 100% on the scouting department. Aside from Casas and Mata, it's really hard to give him ANY credit for the players left over. The guys in the group were highly unlikely or ineligible to be traded back in 2019.

I guess... I just never bought into the pink hat nonsense back in the day. Fans are fans. People cheer in different ways, but it doesn't make them any less happy or sad at the end of a game. There's just no right way to be a fan and that's ok. If you had to state something definitively, the perfect distillation of a fan would be a 10 year old, drinking a soda and yelling that a pitch was too high from 400'+ away. And I don't think we want 4th and 5th graders posting on here, because they are even more annoying than these old guys.

It would take just one of them to put the other on ignore for our quality of life to dramatically improve around here. They should have both been put on timeout by now IMO.

I would say that the majority of RED SOX NATION still has no idea who he is. Most of the reporters that will be at ST have never seen him before in person.

ERC wasn't invited to big league camp. If we are talking about minors camp, I think there will be lots of guys following Bleis this year. I was also trying to go for guys not included on the 40 man. Would be nice to have another OF option in Abreu. We'll see how he rebounds. He struggled in the AFL from what I remembered.

1. Having Mookie for his full career seems cool. 2. The Dombo alt history is hilarious. They have max deals for Javy Baez, Correa, Turner AND Devers! How? IDK! Henry wouldn't let Dombo even sign Betts without the other guys. How would he get all the others? Maybe in this fiction Dombo had Henry whacked? Is Betts around or no? MIKE Wacha as a World Series hero? Wow. Who are the other pitchers?
