Honestly, a sweeter deal would be much more realistic, probably a couple more prospects, and take out Johnson and add Hagadone or someone of the sort.

Apparently, the point is he's the best "pitcher" in the system. As in, knows his stuff, picks his spots, and doesn't try to blow away hitters. I don't think it's necessarily about not giving up runs or pitching with a lead.
