What we need is our SPs to round into form, because the reason the Rays are owning us, is because they're owning our starters, specially Lester, who has an ERA of "it's over 9,000!" against them, but i suppose that as Beckett finds his groove, Dice-K comes back and Lester starts staying low in the zone we should be able to beat them in a much more consistent basis.

I've been one of the, if not, the biggest Ortiz apologist in this board so far, but his suckitude is becoming unbearable to watch, there is not much wrong with him mechanically anymore, so why the f*** is he still not driving the ball? Hell, Julio f***ing Lugo, that rotting sack of FAIL hit his first today, and he has less than half the ABs that Ortiz has! f***, even Paul Maholm hit a jack today...... If Papi doesn't start producing soon, trade his ass! -

But that is presenting an entirely different POV than your idea of trading Ellsbury altogether, in fact, this is an idea that i was just about to bring up, since he would be an awesome number 9 hitter, and he would, of course, keep providing GG defense at a middle line position.

Nope, it's their reluctance to having a game-changer on base that causes pitchers to attack him. You see, Ellsbury, like Juan Pierre and Chone Figgins, is a rare breed of player, inflated batting averages with mediocre OBPs come with them, because pitchers attack them to keep them off base, that being said, however, i expect Ellsbury to flash some power as he matures and continues driving the inside pitch and uses his contact to slash it from baseline to baseline.

All i'm gonna say is: Ain't Karma a bitch? He sabotaged his way out of Boston to get more money, he loses a bit of money in the process, and now gets banned for $8 mill (he don't care about the games), for using a cock-enhancer. Ah, in such strange ways does hilarity ensue.
