  1. Simple. He's only 30 years old, so he's right in the middle of his prime years. I'm not talking about .300,30,100 as his offensive standard. But that could very well be his career year in his ages 30-33 seasons.
  2. Took Brad Hawpe. Good OF, solid 4-tool talent performer whose home-away splits are surprisingly unaffected by Coors Field. Home OPS .891 Away OPS .865 .300, 30, 100 a very real posibility with his solid LH bat. I'm pleasantly surprised he fell this far in the draft.
  3. Brad Hawpe, OF
  4. If i ever meet you IRL, i'm a bust you up.
  5. Plz Papi.......stop the suck...........
  6. Almost anything not on the ground gets it done.
  7. Now Julio Lugo's looking like f***ing Barry Larkin WTF?
  8. Oh wow, can Jeff Bailey SUCK any more?
  9. See, i did say he gets it done. So i don't know why, lol.
  10. The Red Sox are consistently failing at getting Torii Hunter out. Someone needs to prepare a game plan for that douche bag. Scouting reports, anyone?
  11. Had to go for the high-risk/high-reward pick for my CP here. Papelbon's been a nightmare this year, and that shoulder could blow up any time now. That being said, he gets it done, and with a bit of luck he might still have 3-4 elite years left, which made the safest pick in the bullpen in my opinion.
  12. Jonathan Papelbon, CP.
  13. The Duke pick was an exercise in futility though.
  14. I usually don't agree with you, but those are my feelings towards Lester as well. But i think he'll get it figured out in the next couple of starts, and a nice beginning would be keeping that 4-seamer and curveball out of RHH's powe zone.
  15. I guess the Longoria blast was on an excellent pitch, but he has been hitting anything anywhere this year, and i suppose if you take the two Tampa outings away, he doesn't have such awful numbers. However, i was speaking from what i've seen, and what i've seen is him keeping the ball up and in the hitters' wheelhouse a lot more often, specially against RH hitters.
  16. The ironic thing is that the 7-9 of FAIL is usually in the middle of the important rallies. Take last night, for instance, it was a Nick Green single that got the 2-run game-tying rally going, and it was 'Tek who hit the tie-breaking double against Scot Shields (who happens to own the Cap btw), but that's just the awesomeness of the Sox, every ballplayer who embraces their philosophy is useful no matter how sucky they look (Yes, even Lugo).
  17. I follow and like every baseball team except the pinstriped failures.
  18. Wow, that's actually a really good idea.
  19. Damn you WhiskeyBreath!
  20. Keeper's choice of Molina is a really good one. Not only is Yadier Molina the best defensive catcher in the game today, but he's also on the rise offensively, he's of course also healthy, young, and durable. Overall great pick this late in the draft.
