  1. No. Even if it's slightly BELOW replacement, we're talking utility infield here. So a .700 OPS is not a given, however, any of these guys are proven Major Leaguers, not a dump by the f***ing Royals.
  2. You keep talking about this ZIP projections. Hulett hasn't done JACK s*** in the major leagues, projections mean nothing. I'll take proven below replacement, over KC castaway any day of the week.
  3. But wait, you conveniently forgot: JD Drew slugging: 522. JD Drew OPS: .914, 6th among outfielders who had enough PA's to qualify for the batting title.
  4. I love how you make it seem like you actually know what went down in that scenario. For all we know, the foundation for that trade could've been laid in the winter meetings. Please stick to the facts.
  5. If you think Hulett is better than any of those guys, then i don't know what to tell you.
  6. Was there ever a chance of trading for Felix?
  7. There are enough proven options out there for Hulett to be any more than emergency backup at Pawtucket.
  8. One thing i've noticed is you consistently downplay the knee injury he suffered last year besides the wrist injury. He has the talent, and no one has argued otherwise, but until he plays to the level of his talent while staying healthy, he's staying at Pawtucket. If plan B for this team in terms of an injury for a middle infielder is Tug Hulett, then i'm worried about the state of this team right now.
  9. He'll be good enough for us not to have to count on Lowrie again. Until he proves he's healthy, there is absolutely no reason for him to even be sniffing the big club.
  10. Guys Doiji has hyped: Mike Lowell (Over Mark f***ing Teixeira). Hunter Jones (Lol really?) Jed Lowrie (He'll be healthy someday) Nick Green (Well he IS a stud) Tug Hulett (Tug who?) And this is just the top of my head, but i'm sure the trend is easily noticeable.
  11. Come on man, can't you notice the trend? He wants to hype every player that either sucks or is not suited for the job at hand, and when called out on it, calls people "Kindergartners". Watch out, you could be next when he comes back from watching Spongebob!
  12. Well seems i struck a nerve. I find it humorous that a "Grown, mature man" such as yourself thinks of an activity and the first one that comes to mind is watching spongebob. What are you, in kindergarten? Lol Beltre is overpriced and overrated, but at least he doesn't absolutely suck like every guy you hype.
  13. Well i was making a simple joke, but if we're going to talk about being stupid or retarded, i'll choose the guy who bashes Adrian Beltre and has a hard-on for Tug Hulett and Nick Green any day of the week.
  14. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Well f***ing played! :lol::lol:
  15. 75 is more than 70. Term perfectly applied.
  16. If you want to be safe about it, use it against Yankee fans. No matter how you use it, it'll be correct (Except Y228, he's cool).
  17. Sure, it'd be nice to give him a chance if we were the Royals or something.......oh wait.........
  18. Utility types who can play SS and do not suck as much ass as Hulet: Bobby Crosby. Jerry Hairston Jr. Nick Green. Juan Uribe. Khalil Greene. Your point was Tug Hulett as the Util IF, it was never whether the person playing was capable of playing SS consistently, for that end, i present you a number of options who could fit the bill and not suck absolute ass.
  19. A strong bench is extremely important for a contending team like the Sox. Why have a suckfest for an utility man when you can have a decent option like Jamey Carroll? He could supply a .700 plus OPS and can play basically every position decently. I love how you bash an idea of signing a guy like Adrian Beltre but pine hard for someone like Tug friggin' Hulett to make the Major League roster. Absolutely ridiculous.
  20. Really with Hulett? Really?
