  1. I never, ever swing at the first pitch.
  2. I thought about it in first instance, but it seemed too vague a statement.
  3. Garciaparra hit 52 3B's during his entire ML career, 15 of them on the first pitch, 24 of them with men on. "Master" of the first-pitch RBI triple? True five-tool player though.
  4. And tiring glove adjustment as well.
  5. He was a top three offensive SS with a great glove but an erratic arm. Don't let your dislike of him blind you to the truth.
  6. I don't have to give explanations anyone here, and even less so because it's a full five days before the deadline, but i had some PayPal issues, and had to find someone to send my money for me. What really irks me is how someone who's living on borrowed time has the gall to look for ways to stirr the pot yet again. Some people just don't learn.
  7. Dues sent in full (much to the disdain of some).
  8. Dude, chill the f*** out. I had problems with my PayPal account. Shut the f*** up and let me send the money. Jesus f***ing Christ.
  9. People were talking about current SS. Nomar hasn't been a SS for years. For that matter, no one mentioned Tejada, A-Rod or Barry Larkin.
  10. But the "Waging war" aspect of TalkSox usually does.
  11. There was a war here, and i wasn't part of it. Improvement.
  12. With the amount of time, resources and overall work that goes into grooming a prospect, i think organizations actually underhype them.
  13. If you don't have the stats, and you didn't see the player perform, how can you make an analysis? It's stupid.
  14. I smell the fear, and it smells delicious. Brb, gonna make a comparison between Josh Reddick and Tony Conigliaro, even though i never, ever saw Conigliaro play and don't have any stats other than F% to back me up. Cooking up TL: DR post right now.
  15. Ah, when called out on your utter and blatant stupidity, resort to personal attacking. Delicious. You can't compare two when you don't know jack s*** about one of them. It's common f***ing sense.
  16. No. You said Youkilis was his equal at first, you never said anything about the "Value of a glove at 1B",which is valuable, a good offensive and defensive 1B is more valuable than a similar offensive 1B who can't field his position, also, you can't compare the two because you never saw Scott play and you don't have advanced stats to evaluate him, second, fielding percentage is utterly and completely useless by itself, and you know this, interesting how you try to sneak it in there when it supports your "argument". Funny how you accuse me of being a hypocrite about defensive statistics but have the gall to use F% when you have discounted it before yourself.
  17. How? You never saw Scott play, and no one's talking about offense. Jesus f***ing Christ.
  18. I like Milton Bradley. He makes awesome board games.
  19. All Time: Pedro Martinez. Current: J.D Drew. f*** the haters.
  20. They signed him for two years to play the OF, regardless of position but you're not counting on him to play every day but be a 7.5 million backup if they sign someone like Dunn? Ok then.
  21. He's had OPS's below the .800's the last two seasons. He was elite, but he's no longer top 3.
  22. LF: Ellsbury CF: Cameron RF: Drew Beltre: FA Options: 1B Something i'm missing here, Einstein? Even though Dunn's a "LF" he'd be signed to play 1B or DH, because the OF is set.
