    Nice strawman. We discussed long and hard why Vasquez was the exception to the rule of good peripherals equal good results because of his inability to avoid giving up bombs and XBH. What i find funny is that now you're claiming "HE'LL BE OK" after being the first to jump off the Vasquez boat. Lol.

    Holy s***, how the f*** did this turn into an argument? No one can have a polished opinion on the kid due to so many outside factors affecting the amount of innings he has pitched (pitch counts, innings limit, etc etc etc) That being said, if he hasn't thrown even nearly 100 pitches in a game yet, he's not sufficiently stretched to do so in MLB, but that could change in the next couple of weeks.

    I have the spanish broadcast from the Dominican broadcast CDN, both guys on the booth today ,Kevin Cabral, (who also works ESPN) and Osvaldo Suncar (who also does NBA broadcasts) are actually quite knowledgable, insightful and enjoyable.

    Whether it's the mythical beast known as the RBI, seemingly pathological dislike for certain players (regardless of performance) to the point of making stuff up and proclaiming superiority over this team's front office, to complaining about every possible little thing, the annoyance factor created by the now re-christened (used to be "WATCH THE GAMEZZZ!!!!") "BITCH,BITCH,BITCH" squad has reached historical proportions.

    Important questions: If Victor Martinez has improved ay catcher and has begun limiting the running game, why bitch about him? If Bill Hall has gotten the job done as a MIF, and the sample size is obviously inconclusive as to create any sort of assesment about his performance, why bitch about it? If Scutaro or Pedroia got hurt, you'd have the option of bringing up a MIF to replace either of them anyway, why bitch about the lack of a roster spot? If Lowell's clearly getting traded sooner rather than later, why bitch about it? If the team's winning, and closing in on the WC and division, why keep bitching? Food for thought.

    David Huff? Mitch Talbot? Masterson doesn't know where the hell that ball is headed half the time, but when he does know where it's heading, then he gets it done. P.S. Youk has some back spasms and he'll be back in a couple of days and Lowell will have no role and we will still have no MIF.. V-Mart has looked much better at C, specifically controlling the running game. Bill Hall is our backup MIF, get over it. We don't know when Youkilis is coming back, in the meantime, it's a good thing we have Mike Lowell, who's probably getting traded anyway. And hey, i wanted Holliday as much as you did, but it didn't happen, now how does this explain the fact that you keep bringing up the mental logjam?
