Why the obsession with A-Gon? Considering other alternatives...
Jasonbay44 replied to Palodios's topic in Boston Red Sox Talk
I wouldn't say Tex and Fielder are better then Miggy, their career OPS, OBP and slg% is almost identical, if anything, those guys are as good, but I wouldn't say their better. -
Id think that if Gonzalez is acquired Lowell would either share DH time with Ortiz or he'd be traded again for however, much lesser value then someone like Max Ramirez who would of been acquired if Lowell was actually healthy.

While this is true, I believe a middle of the order bat like Gonzalez or Cabrera is much more important then a #5 starter.

He'll dominate in sprain training, make roster and cause a ton of confusion when "Ramon Ramirez" is coming into the game.
-
Voters got it right, besides guy who voted for Cabrera, he's an idiot.

Ditto.

That was good.

Holy s***, thats a lot of spam.

So very true, especially considering what Twins could of gotten for him, instead, they get Carlos Gomez.

Does chocolate rice even exist? Never heard of it.

If he's anything more then a 4th OF, this team is going to be in a lot of trouble.
-
I could certainly live with that, as long as the starting LF is Bay or Holliday.
-
I actually just realized Hermida is left handed bat. If Red Sox want to continue the stupidity of benching Drew vs lefties, then Baldelli might be back.
-
I know, really. At least people like the Javier Lopez guy were funny.
-
Im guessing this means Baldelli wont be back next year.

So, Samaki Walker is better then Dwight Howard!?!? Wow, who'd of thunk it.

So, CP3, who has led the league in assists the past two season isn't a distributor?
