    All three of those guys have been s***** regardless of who was catching, but for what its worth, Price and Buchholz had their best starts with Vazquez catching and its clear that Swihart is by far the worst defensively out of the three.. I'm not big at looking into catcher ERA, but things such as throwing out base runners, framing pitches, and fielding in general, Hanigan and Vazquez are far superior.

    The lineup is fine without Swihart. Vazquez and Hanigan are excellent defensively and the rest of the lineup can makeup for having one black hole. Swihart's defense was hurting the team more than his offense was helping it.

    I feel like if we were to get a player like Trout, it would have to include young MLB talent along with prospects. Like Mookie or Xander as a starting point.. Is that worth it? I'm not sure. If we could get him for just prospects, Id be all for it, and I'm sure almost all of us would be, but I don't think its realistic.

    Bryce Harper is currently 0-0 with 6 walks and a HBP. So he's been up 7 times, had 0 official AB's and been on 7 times. Absurd.

    I remember when everyone wanted to dump JBJ for nothing when his value was at an all time low. Good times. I wouldn't trade JBJ, I value his defense very highly and he has really come along with the bat. He is great fielder/base runner, and now that he's hitting his value to this team is awesome. I've always wanted to keep JBJ for his glove and now that he's finally come around with the bat, I want him to stay even more.

    I'm definitely not giving up on Price yet, but to say I'm not concerned would be a lie. He has been rocked by some s***** teams, his velocity is down, and he just doesn't look like the same pitcher. I really hope he turns it around, because a contract like that can kill a team for years to come.

    Its great there is no repercussions for being a s***** umpire, this guy can do whatever the f*** he wants and be fine. CB Bucknor has been sack of s*** his whole career and somehow gets to ump playoff games.
