  1. I just don’t get why all this stuff is in the media anyway. This could’ve easily been said or done behind closed doors and now it’s becoming almost a circus. At least it’s not impacting Devers hitting on the field
  2. It’s s***** articles. It’s like being too lazy to have an opinion or anything so you shared someone else’s opinion. What is the point? The article said a whole lot of nothing and was about as useful as buzzfeed articles written by a random blogger.
  3. I’ve always heard it’s a great baseball city, so I’m excited to go there.
  4. ^also very jealous of comiskey, astrodome and shea. As someone who plays MLB the show and is a baseball historian I would’ve loved to attend those parks. When I was in Texas I actually visited what was left of the astrodome. also would’ve loved to see a game at polo grounds. Such a ridiculous park lol
  5. So far that still exist 10, they are: Fenway Citi Field (Mets) Citizens Bank (Phillies) Wrigley (Cubs) Camden Yards (Orioles) Nationals Park (nationals obviously lol) PNC (Pirates) Minute Maid (Astros) Progressive Field (Guardians) Great American Ballpark (Reds) I’ll be up to 15 at end of the season as I’m doing White Sox, Cubs (already seen but my roommate really wants to go and I’m down), Twins, Brewers and Cardinals and I have a die hard Yankees fan buddy who for his 30th birthday wants us to come to New York for a Yankees/Sox game, so that’s also loosely planned. for stadiums that not longer exist. I saw nationals play at RFK stadium (it actually might still exist lol but it’s a shithole) and I went to old yankee stadium as a very young kid with my dad. I don’t have much memory of it.
  6. I don’t like him as a human but Chapman has been amazing
  7. I worded that poorly. It’s a Father’s Day gift. The actual trip is in July.
  8. Better than what Slaten and Whitlock have been doing recently! Who would’ve thought
  9. Unrelated. But on my quest to visit every MLB ballpark, me and my friends just booked a trip to see both Chicago teams, Minnesota and Milwaukee in 7 days last week and today my fiancé helped me book a trip to see Cardinals in St Louis with my dad and her for Father’s Day. I’m not sure if this is impressive or a weird addiction.
  10. Good bunt by Rafaela. Duran needs to get this run home
  11. I agree. I was showing his advanced stats, not agreeing with that guys opinion lol.
  12. Giolito with an awesome performance today. I was worried the 3rd inning when he allowed a few guys on but he bounced back.
  13. I still think it’ll end up a good move. His defense alone holds a lot of value.
  14. 5.2 innings with 0 runs is not a quality start. Baseball is weird
  15. Even this season alone, he hits 9th and contributes enough offensively with his elite defense that he has a 1.6 WAR. He is a very good player. Will he be frustrating on offense sometimes? Sure. But he’s a bottom of the order bat and still contributes while giving us elite defense and elite base running when he gets on. Hes also still just 24.
  16. He’s actually improved a lot and is the least of my worries. He hits 9th and no matter what is giving you elite defense
  17. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there. Go Sox
  18. NBA has the smallest percentage of players that actually make it due to smaller rosters but they are usually paid the most. A lot of role players make $20+ million a year. NFL probably has the highest chance they of “making it” due to huge rosters (50+ players + practice squads) and two extra teams (32 compared to 30 in MLB and NBA) but also has the negatives of high injury risk and non guaranteed salaries.
  19. Unrelated but holy s*** are the Rockies bad. They are down 19-0 in the top of the 5th. They might be worse than 24 White Sox
