I think the way bigger issue is roster construction. You can’t really build a “ winning culture” with the way the pitchers this team has employed the last few seasons. It’s not Like Devers is rubbing off on the young players. Duran, Hamilton, Mayer and others play extremely hard. Devers is what he is. An exceptional hitter, a Yankee killer and a bad fielder who doesn’t always hustle. -
It’s a great way to lose games and will accomplish nothing. If you think Devers not playing 1B is the issue with this team, I don’t know what to tell you.
