I think part of it is due to Jerry Jones age. He’s 82 so I don’t think he’s all there mentally

Selling young guys on cheap deals makes no sense. The guys who would be sold would be guys like Aroldis Chapman and Justin Wilson who are older and on 1 year deals. possibly Bregman if they don’t think an extension is realistic. All the other guys huh me ruined are rookies, or on long term deals.

I don’t think there is any kind of trade market for Buehler. No team needs a pitcher with an ERA over 6 and a -1.2 WAR. He likely gets designated for assignment and if anyone wants him, they can have him for cash considerations.
