Who would’ve thought we’d be talking about blowing up this team on June 2nd -
Great idea. I’m sure he’ll have tons of save opportunities with Hector Velazquez and Ryan Weber taking the starts that would’ve gone to Chris Sale. It’s also a bonus that Sale is signed cheaply for an average salary of $29 million a year.

Most the guys you’d want to trade (Nunez, Pearce, Leon, Pedroia, etc) don’t have value. And the guys that do have value (Mookie, Devers, Xander) you don’t want to move.

Bonds hit 73 bombs in 153 games. He had a season with a .609(!!!) OBP. He had a season where he hit .370. Dude had over 2500 career walks... most players don’t get that many hits lol.

Barry Bonds is honestly the most dominant athlete I’ve ever seen. Those numbers he put up, steroids or not are absolutely ridiculous.
