  1. Thanks! That one's not original, just a quick Google images find.
  2. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OvmuvHN8HnM/SEcWYddQOpI/AAAAAAAAAKI/vva8VjX1AIw/s320/jabba%2Bcopy.jpg
  3. God how I wish I could see this. Screw you all, Steinbrenners!
  4. 3 pitches? At least Elsbury didn't screw around.
  5. http://pix8.com/images/11439193574708047017.jpg Like I said... umps suck.
  6. Not sure how accurate PitchFx is so far, but it is showing a lot of these low "balls" by Beckett as clear strikes.
  7. What's with the surprise, everyone. Seeing a game without a dicked-up call or two is a rarity. Bud Selig should hand that issue to his dumbass select committees: "What should we do about these dick-weed umpires?"
  8. Scuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-tarooooooooooooooooo!
  9. Beltre. Almost. Not quite. Not too bad, though.
  10. Uh, No. I have MLB.tv (also blacked out.) Usally, Sunday night games on ESPN aren't blacked out, but I suppose opening night is too much of a money maker for those Yankee owner pricks.
  11. So, I have bee n waiting for this game for months. I've in front of the TV an hour early. Beer, snacks, son... everything in place. 8:00pm finally comes, the dorks on Baseball Tongiht finally sign off and CLACK! Espn switched to ESPN NEWS because I love within 200 miles of New York and the Steinbrenners are rotten bastard greedy douchebags! I can't believe that OPENING NIGHT is friggin' blacked out. This truly blows.
  12. Really? I thought he had like 1 error and got picked defensive player of the year?
  13. My experience is that the tickets are rather hard to come by, especially for those of us traveling a long way and less flexible with the dates that are workable. Being a cheap ass is sometimes not something you can choose not to be. Until, of course, I can learn to print the money myself.
  14. Here's my question, late as it maybe... If Bay was so happy in Boston, why would he turn down the Red Sox deal in favor of a Mets deal that gave him only 1.5 million more per season? I mean the difference between 66 and 60 is pretty negligible unless your only concern is the bottom line. I suppose I'm just bummed cause I wanted Bay back. I get sick of these guys always saying nice sound bites about how they like where they are and then going to the highest bidder. It seems hypocritical.
  15. What about the idea that Holliday's hitting trailed off so significantly when he was hitting AL pitchers this year, then soared again when he went back to the NL?
