Speaking of Beckett and Shilling... I watched the celebration after the no-no on MLB.TV. At one point, Beckett is shouting, "One better that Kurt Shilling! One better that Kurt Shilling!" Is is me or could that be taken as sort of crappy thing to be shouting?

I'm hoping that they will parlay the anger they must be feeling after these past three games and stop on the Orioles. The Orioles have a bad habit of playing better against better teams (reference the 30 - 3 stomping the took via the Rangers) but the Sox are a better team and need to make it known.

Hello All! What can I say...I love the Red Sox. I have not been obsessed with them all my life, so I hope you have some tolerance for a relative newbie. I did "hop on the bandwagon" pre-2004, though, if that helps at all. I'm in PA, so my second love is the Phillies. It also means that I have gotten to watch about 3 actual Sox games this summer, which really sucks! I've already promised myself to subscribe to MLB.tv for next season. Where I live, that will get me most Sox games, except the ones where the face the Yankers since my area is covered in the YES blackout area. I tried hanging out at the Sons of Sam Horn site, but those guys seem to be rather hardcore and didn't have a lot of tolerance for new guys ("lurkers" as they term it.) I'm hoping for a bit warmer reception here. I spend most free minutes (which, with a full-time job, a part-time, job, three kids and a wife, doesn't add up to a whole ton of time) scowering the web for all the Sox info I can find. I have never been to Fenway, but hope to rectify that next season, as well. I have almost no other Sox fans anywhere near me, but plenty of obnoxious Yanker fans. So, for what it's worth, that is my story. GO SOX!!!
