If you want to look at it as "demanding", then so be it. Yes, I believe they owe all fans of their team.

Does that mean he's traded with no extension? My blood pressure is lowering, but I still think they screwed the pooch a bit if they didn't get an extension in place.

I said nothing about my superiority to any other fan-base. I'm talking only about myself as a fan, other fans who may think as I do (as opposed to f***tards who post on forums dedicated to teams they don't like) and what I think the Sox should be doing.

Sure. I'll be happy if they do manage to get him. But I'm tired of this. My opinion may not be rational or logical, but right now that's more than I'm capable of. I'm just pissed off and, yeah, I'll get over it. But the whole thing just strikes me a insanely stupid, and I can't help thinking that way for now.

Fine then. I'm willing to kick them in the ass, too. I'm goddamn tired of this. I'm sorry if it bothers you, but I feel like I put in enough time thinking about, rooting for, and defending the Red Sox that I should be allowed to be a DOUCHEBAG on occasion when they disappoint me.

This all just pisses me off. If there was ever a no-brainer deal in the history of the world, giving Gonzales 8 years is it. This is why we keep losing players to the freakin' Yankers. I'm tired of having conversations with people about why the Red Sox couldn't get this guy and why the Red Sox couldn't get that guy. They have more money than anyone but the Yankers. Gonzales was born to hit in a screwy park like Fenway. Yeah, I know he could still end up traded to Boston. But right now I'm frickin' pissed off. If Theo was standing in front of me know I'd kick him square in the ass.

Here's my question. If Boston signs Gonzales, what are the chances they get him into a long term contract? He's gonna be looking for Teixeira dollars, and the Sox could pay it, but what are the chances he does that and doesn't wait and fish the market?

I'm fascinated by his insistence that Detroit really wants him to stay. Also, he is supposedly scarred by the treatment he got from Boston fans after signing with the Yankees. I think he may have brain damage.

Does anyone have a foggy clue where you can find RISP numbers (current) by team? If you dig deep enough you can find them for individuals on the MLB site. I've looked and all the obvious places, and some others, and find nothing.

At the beginning of the season it's about $125. As the season wears on, especially after All Star Break, they begin offering monthly packages and reduced packages for the remainder. If you don't live in your teams blackout area (I'm in central PA), it's worth every penny. You can watch from anywhere you have a high speed Internet connection. The only time I'm out of it is when we play the Yankees because I'm under the YES blackout area.
