  1. Where you at? http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg189/rassmuss1/yeungling.jpg
  2. Sorry, man. I don't. I'm a Yuengling Black and Tan guy. SA Boston Lager rocks, too.
  3. This is what I'm talking about... No spunk in these guys. Many would say it's not a good thing, but if that was Youk getting called out on that questionable foul-tip into the mitt, he'd be livid. I like that in players. Make it look like you care a little bit. And A-rod's just a dick.
  4. Old E? Good grief!!
  5. That was a horrible play by Cano. Even with over running it he should have had it.
  6. I agree with everything you're saying, but I shy away from the $$$ topic because the Sox are in the top 5 for salary, too. I'd rather stick to the idea that 99% of Yankee fans are obnoxious and will turn on their own players at the drop of a hat. The team has only one guy with any zest or personality - Joba - who has a ways to go to be a star, but a least he appears to care. The rest look and act like robots. They play in a stadium that cost a billion dolars and made zero improvements to the games played there. Now, the old place was a toilet, and they added a lot of nice restaurants and stores (as in more income for the franchise), but the field is a carbon copy of the old one, the seats are insanely expensive and there are still (accordong to what I've read) over 1000 obstructed view seats. It all amounts to the same thing... that franchise doesn't care for its fans. It's no wonder their so venomous.
  7. Perhaps my new avatar is good mojo?
  8. I was just gonna say we need to start swinging at those outside pitches. All tied up! I still like the captain.
  9. Another thrid strike off of the plate. At least he's consistent.
  10. My vote is for Beckett to throw the first pitch of the third into the stands and take the ball.
  11. Off to the races... third strike called about 4 inches off the plate.
  12. Specific individual references aside, Rice is right on. Today's players are not the same caliber as players from Rice's era and earlier. Just my opinion.
  13. Ellsbury's next on that list, too.
  14. Listen, it was the second time in two days he'd gotten plunked. It wasn't something he thought about. He got hit and he freaked out a bit. Whether or not it was selfish or if it fired up the team is irrelevant. It was an emotional reaction, and one that I could see a lot of guys making if the same thing happened on the right day.
  15. That's like a $20 carton of milk. Excellent!
  16. Cashman is not nearly as much of a liability as Girardi and the bullpen are.
