Why mix and match line-up in play-offs - should he not always send the best line-up. Mirabelli playing ( other than catching Wek) is OK but playing Tek for Victor will be horrible. One argument could be that Martinez can't catch regularly - but can he not catch all games in the play-offs? That is not many games compared to regular season of 162.

Is anyone else getting sick in the stomach with the fact that Becket still does not work with Martinez? Does that not potentially mean that Sox start playoff with Tek in starting line-up?

Tek and his intangibles - at least he calls a good game now his defense is useless also.

I was happy about the pick-up was getting frustrated with the idea that Lowrie will come back sometime and be great. But his hitting has really surprised me (pleasantly)

Getting Kotchman was stupid IMO - we are just arguing that he has done nothing to hurt us - that's right. Our ring does not depend on that decision - that was an example of Theo's trades.

I know the argument. Kotchman is a better economic signing with 3 years etc. etc. I don't buy it - that type of mentality has gotten us in trouble. I want my GM to go for the best player when it is well known that LaRoche is a second halfplayer. I don't buy that there will not be regular playing time for him. Just have to sit Tek a little bit more androtate Lowell/Papi at DH. Players like Kotchman are dime a dozen. Hell - he is not even a very good defensive first baseman - I have seen better. Thats my logic - I know yours different.

I know - that year our benchwas horrible. We sort of lucked out that there were no major injuries. Tito did try to f it up by insisting not to play Ellsbury. Last year - he did f it up.

I don't think so - not based on results. He has developed a good farm - that is it. Dont believe everything you hear. Now - I am assuming his being better than Pirates GM does not make him 1 of the best.

It is not about 1 game - getting Penny, Smoltz and Rocco is not the right response on screwing up on Tex.

I hope Theo gets fired in case you are not sure what I said. Who trades Larouche for Kotchman?

I am having jitters that Tito will start Tek in the play-offs. To have any chance in post-season - I am praying Tek goes to DL.
