No kidding. I went to a Grizz game Friday night. They put on a clinic. Granted, it was against the T-Wolves, but those Grizzlies can freaking score the ball. It's a shame they wasted that #2 pick on Thabeet. They've been playing awesome lately picking up nice wins over the Spurs and Suns. A few weeks ago they beat Phoenix by 25 out there.

Kentucky was desperate (and embarassed). At this point their fan base was like "Alright, I don't give a damn what it takes, we are going to win and win now"... so naturally they went for the home run and got Calipari. Same thing with Alabama football 3 years ago. They were fed up with mediocrity, so they went for the best there is in Nick Saban and threw tons of dollars at him to come. Only difference is Saban isn't a known cheat.

Not that hardly anyone here cares, but Mississippi State had one of the best comebacks of the season today. We were down 14 to Georgia with under 5 minutes to go, and went on a 17-3 run in like 2 minutes and came back and won 72-69. Awesome comeback win on a scrappy Georgia team. The Tennessee and Ole Miss game also was fantastic. Vols won in OT.

Odd. They removed the content from the link. I just read that article last night too. Basically it talked about how this guy saw Marvin Harrison get in an argument with a man, and eventually spray bullets everywhere at him and eventually kill him. This same guy did an interview with ESPN, stating he would no longer go back and hang around his old neighborhood out of fear, and a month later he was killed. Lots of weird stuff going on there. Marvin Harrison likely will never go to jail, but it certainly looks like he murdered someone.

The witness who recounted all this was talking about how he doesn't hang around that neighborhood anymore because he was fearful Marvin Harrison might get someone to kill him or something, and a month later he was shot and killed in his car somewhere. Unfortunately I will be pretty surprised if Harrison ever serves any prison time, although it looks pretty clear that he was behind all this. Just how things typically work when you're a pro athlete.

YES Awesome win in the shootout. Chara came up in the 4th round and BLASTED one past Nabokov. Thomas did a real nice job as well.

We haven't been good, but it doesn't help matters that Buffalo pretty much won't lose anymore. They're just 2 points back of New Jersey for tops in the East.
