I agree that Texas should go if both have 1 loss, but in the computer rankings OU will jump ahead of them IF they beat #2 Texas Tech and #11 Oklahoma State in their final 2 games. Those wins would boost them ahead. I will just be really surprised if Texas makes it. What really would throw the whole thing for a loop is if OU beats TT, then loses to Okie Lite at the very end of the season. Crazy, crazy, crazy.

If Oklahoma beats Texas Tech and Oklahoma State (which I think they will) they will go to the Big XII Title Game. I would fully expect them to beat Mizzou, and in doing so head to the National Championship to face the winner of the SEC Championship. It appears that Texas is screwed either way. On one hand if OU wins out, they will get leapfrogged, and if TT wins out obviously they will stay ahead of them. It doesn't look very likely that Texas makes it to the Big XII Championship much less the National Championship. It's also too bad there can't be more than 2 teams from the same conference in the BCS because Texas Tech, Texas, and Oklahoma in reality should all be there.

Not really following you here, but the league I was in last year had 12 teams and 8 made the playoffs. I just figured that's the way it was in every league. -

So I've been thinking this whole time that the top 8 teams made the playoffs. Only the top 4 make it with the 4-8 spots going to the consolation playoffs. Hmm. That makes it a lot more interesting considering I thought I had a playoff appearance wrapped up. -
Last time I checked Trot was still playing baseball. So no. I'm about 93% sure Mirabelli isn't going to do it either.

Yeah, except Hanley. He will be there a while. One of my good friends has a cousin who's got a shot at landing the Marlins #5 spot in the rotation this year, or at least being with the club at some point this season. His name is Brett Sinkbeil. I'm hoping he makes it, because I certainly wouldn't be opposed to free tickets at any time.
