  1. Pedroia, and for all the reasons already stated. Just a great all around player who continues to impress.
  2. Cliff Lee without a doubt. What a turnaround season for him.
  3. Longoria is the obvious choice here. I think Alexei Ramirez would be 2nd. He had a really solid year and for someone who looks 140 pounds, he hit 21 homers. Pretty impressive.
  4. Pujols, and it's not even close. A lot of people didn't know how he was going to be this year with the whispers of surgery back in spring training but he was consistently the best player in baseball the entire season.
  5. Lincecum. You also have to take into account him playing on a team with a terrible offense and he still managed to get 18 wins.
  6. I went with Soto, although Bruce had a nice year too in less games played. Soto had a really nice year and as a rookie (and catcher handling a pitching staff) it's hard to adjust to the game. He did it with flying colors.
  7. I watched the Kings game tonight at Minnesota, a 2 point loss. Spencer Hawes looked solid (12 pts, 14 boards) and 1st round pick Jason Thompson looked GOOD. He had 18 and 10 coming off the bench. If Sacramento could post a winning record this season I'd be pretty happy. By the way, for those of you with Directv, NBA League Pass is free all the way through next Tuesday.
  8. Yeah, its been out for a while. Shouldn't be all that hard to get tickets to Nats games seeing as though they're a bottomfeeder every year. Should be another stadium where the Red Sox have more fans than the home team. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/2008/09/red_sox_announc_1.html
  9. Mets, Marlins, Braves at home. Phillies, Nationals, Braves away.
  10. Check out this video from the Houston/Marshall game last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buzjAeYljKM How utterly ridiculous is it that there were CARTS five feet behind the end zone?!? How can that happen? Marshall should have to pay for the kid's medical bills. I feel bad for him after that.
  11. Hard to believe we have to go all the way back to 2003 for the last time the WS has gone more than 5 games.
  12. And the Philadelphia Phillies win the World Series. Good for them. They deserve it.
  13. Down to their final out...
  14. Fernando Perez on 2nd. A base hit will surely score him.
  15. Man, it looks extremely cold with all that rain coming down. I'm surprised there's been no delay.
  16. The ump squeezed Kazmir pretty bad tonight. Quite a few questionable calls.
  17. Must see TV right there.
  18. lol @ Joe Blanton hitting a home run
  19. If we can lets hurry and get this trade processed. I need Marc-Andre Fleury for the upcoming week. Thanks. Pominville, whoever you are, nice doin' business with ya. ...And I'll ask again. Who is who on there? 1. Turco and Co. - msubulldogs21 2. Jagrmeister - The Kilo 3. SUMOS!!! - SOTK 4. YanksHater213 - bourque and neely? 5. redsoxrules - Red Wings That's all I've got.
  20. AHHHHH!!! I freaking hate losing to the Cowboys. That was a tough one today.
  21. That's going to be a great game. I'm really looking forward to it. Texas Tech still has UT, OU, and OK State left on their schedule. We're about to see what they're made of. And how good is the freaking Big XII South?!? Texas, Texas Tech, OU, AND Oklahoma State!
