he cant play OF that well rite now (at Fenway) but like HOSN said it will come with experience, give the guy a break, hes young, inexperienced yet one of the most powerful hitters in baseball... he's gonna be big in a few years, if that... EDIT: Also he has good speed considering he's as big as a football player...

Should the Sox resign Schilling out of Spring training?

If they sign Schilling next year, what happens to Lester? unless Wake retires next year and that spot opens up for Lester, assuming he will be ready to start in the rotation next season... Also what about Buchholz and Bowden, are they going to start in AAA in 08'?... or maybe MLB relief? -
I really wish I continued playing ball, I dont know why I didnt... Ive always loved the game... I remember a couple of web gem plays I made... and like Gom said, those really were the days... I can still play now, its only a matter of how to get into it again...

Sadly I never saw Williams play but from everything I hear and see, he's great, plain and simple... He went and fought in the Armed Force twice in his career and each time he came back he played baseball... Ted Williams is my favorite baseball player who I never got to see, I really wish I could have seen him play... What happened to a good clean game of baseball? Today there are all of this s*** with roids and muscle enhancers and money that the players overlook what the game is really about... the whole point of a game is to have fun and enjoy it... well today its all about the money but there still are some of those players that play ball how it should be played... and Ted Williams was one of those players...

No, but what you have to look at is... where are Helton and either Hansen or MDC gonna be in about 3 years... Helton will not be that great of hitter anymore since hes on the decline, Hansen or MDC on the other hand are young good pitchers which in about 3 years, should be a closer and setup man material...

I didnt want Lowell to go, he's a great player for the Sox. Also, trading away some of our young pitching prospects for a seasoned veteran on the decline didn't sound that smart either... and trade away Julian? ah come on man, you gotta love Julian Tavarez, haha...
