I gotta agree totally... that's what really gets me, he has my dream job and he ********'s it, I would LOVE to play in the majors not to mention play for the Red Sox... but I guess some of these guys see baseball as a job more than a dream, that they once saw it as...

Alright, obviously Helton isn't Manny, but Helton is less high maintenance, and isn't a pain in the ass like Manny, but Manny does drive in the runs... in that article it does say the Helton does have a great swing for Fenway... But, Helton does cost almost the same as Manny and has more years on his contract... I hope the Sox don't waste Wily Mo and they try and ease him into that Left Field spot hopefully next year, if he's ready, but the only thing is what would they do with Manny...? I can imagine Wily Mo is a little tried of sitting on the bench when he put up the numbers he did last year... ok ok maybe Im expecting a little much of him now, but I think he'll be great in the near future... EDIT: ^I know this last part is a little random^

So you would want Brady not to raise HIS child, yaaaa, I'm sure that would be a MUCH better role model... and children are probably born Out of wedlock more then they are born In wedlock, so you would want children in foster care and such rather than be with there biological parents... ya cause that would be SOO much better rite...

O ok ok, I got ya now... I agree partly, I do think if Lester pitches very well in ST he should be considered as part of the rotation but I don't think Papelbon should close anymore, just from one season of closing he got injured (he did pitch a lot though)... I think they should start Lester in AAA, getting him pitching again and then move him up the Long Relief/Spot Starter (or maybe have a 6 man rotation, Dice-K is use to that, just a thought), and then next season, sadly as it may be, let Schilling go and have Lester come into his spot in the rotation... If all goes well...

Im not sure they would put Lester as the closer, I think even if he does have a great ST they will still have Lester move back into the majors at a slow pace, just to be cautious... anyway, they wouldnt have Lester close, he's a starter... He may be move into Schilling's spot if they dont get a deal done for next year...

Signing A-Rod would be like signing Damon, sure I like Damon for what he did on his time with the Sox but he betraded the Red Sox fans when he said he would never go to the Yankees, YET he did... A-Rod said he doesnt like Boston so f*** him, hes a great player, but I dont want him, actually when he was on Seattle/Texas he was my favorite but he wnet to the Yankees, that makes him the enemy, I am a Red Sox fan, Sox fans dont like Yankees, simple as that, and im not saying I dont have respect for the Yankees, because I do... CrespoBlows, go f*** yourself...

hey we wouldn't be gaining anything if we traded Manny and signed Arod, they both can hit sure but they can't field... and they both have similar contracts($20+mil)... BUT we could put Wily Mo in left... haha...

i agree part way, this year i dont mind that he not showing up late because of family issues but last year he showed up late because he was mad... come on now, hes not different then anyone else on the team but it sure seems like it, u dont see Ortiz or anyone else thinking ther better than anyone else... but this year Manny has a reason to be late, get well soon Mannys mom, and come to camp ready to play Manny...
