    The latest on Lester is hes making one more start in A ball, coming to Boston to throw a side session and then will pitch atleast one AAA game before they decide on weather or not he will join the Sox in Boston... Hes moved along pretty well, besides Lester at 85% cant be any worse then Tavarez at 100%. I dont want them to rush him but if he really is ready to go then i dont see a reason to hold him back...

    The only team that he might not try to squeeze evey penny out of is the Sox, just for the chance to stick it to NY. As far looking at what teams are set up for title runs, ya everyone says the NYY, but truth be told there aging quick and that window is closing, I'm not trying to be a homer but seriously if I looked at both our teams and was looking to join a team for championship chances Id pick the Sox. The SP is way younger and better then the NYY, you put AROD in our lineup and it becomes just as strong as NY, were better def. your closer is in the twilight of his career and ours is at the beginning... Seriously I would see the Sox as a much more appetizing team...

    Ya but with AROD having the season hes having he will command more then Soriano money. Boras said it himself, a player of his caliber has not been valued on this new market, to me that sounds like he will want atleast what he makes now if not more. And with contracts the way they are you know there is some team that will give him 6 or 7 yrs at 25M a season. If thats what he wants boras will get it for him. I mean he got Texas to give 252M when there was no other team involved in the talks...

    Torre will be asleep by the 6th inning this weekend like normal... Just because Ortiz is on deck doesn't mean you should freeze the runners, you try and make something happen and see how it works out, you cant rely on Ortiz to hit a HR every time he comes up late in a game because its just not going to happen... you have to beable to do other things to produce runs...

    Way too go Cerrano. I'm glad to see the name is catching on. Ya its nice he hit a homer but man talk about no run support for Dice-K... The bats just go dead when he pitches.

    I agree, atleast let Cerrano get a few games in to see if there is any chance he might beable to find his swing...We aleady know Coco can't find it, I think he needs a shrink or something...

    If Karstens is rusty I don´t think you want to rush him and let him face the Sox O right now, that just be dumb, of course I wouldnt suggest letting Igwa pitch against them either, you can say all you want about how much we payed for Matsuzaka, but you payed half the price for Igwa and got an 1/8 of the pitcher....

    Hinske is just really not that great in OF, but if Coco can´t put it together in the next few days then anything might be worth a shot, they need to deal with it now while the rest of the O is hot, and not wait until everyone gets cold and then try to tweak things. The bottom 3 in the lineup are not getting the job done, Pedroia gets on base decently, Tek is hitting like s*** but got a hold of a couple recently and Coco just sucks...

    Vince Young... I mean ya he had a decent season but theres alot better options to grace the cover, Usually its someone with a little more accomplishment, Why not LT or Manning or someone like that...
