    Hard to say. I haven't seen him out there that much. Not even sure how much he's been playing in the OF. Remember it would be RF he would be playing. Taking that into consideration it might be an awful idea.

    I will have to admit. This FO has many failings during the FA period. But they have done pretty well in trades and drafting. Maybe this will make Theo aggressive this off season. IMO JJ Hardy is the starting SS come 2010. It just seems like too good of a fit. And with his off year his price tag won't be near as much as last off season might have been. A change of scenery and Fenway park could really boost this guy offensively. He would probably be the best defensive option as well. Hell I would take .250 and 25 HR out of the SS position. I think that is a reasonable to low expectation of what Hardy could possibly do.
