    You guys are amazing. You don't seem to realize that teams get hot, go cold, whatever. Based on what they've done this season.....get real. The Yankees are slumping. The Red Sox aren't. The fact is the Yankees haven't been hitting. They will. Anyone want to bet on this? Who would you rather have? Arod....Ortiz.....Manny....or Carlos Quentin? Guess who's the top hitter in the league right now? You're basing your stats on the first month or so of the year. There is little doubt the Yankees and Red Sox finish 1-2. It's just a question of who's one and two. It's mid-May. One three game winning streak for the Yankees and one three game losing streak for the Red Sox, and all of a sudden it's a race. If anything has taught ALL of us since 2003...... It's a long, long way 'till September. As constructed....this team is fine. Their only real hole is 1B, one mid-reliever, and possibly one other SP. They are above average or average at every position on their 25 man roster.

    The pitching really isn't a concern. It's the hitting. The Yankees were 21-29 last year, and are 20-25 now. Their hitting has failed them, and so has the GM in creating the team. At least last year, they were injured. This year, it's been more the fact of a lack of performance.

    You know what's funny? Everyone is ripping Hank...but he's gotten more right than Cashman. Cashman is clueless. I'd rather have Hank running things, and fire Cashman's dumb ass.

    Can we change the innings limit to 20? 15 is a little low for this league. That's basically four starts of five innings. If your ace is a two start pitcher, you only really need one other start to make the limit for an entire week. Your thoughts?

    I hate Kennedy for sucking. I hate Cashman even more for not having the baseball knowledge to ascertain as much.

    If these guys don't start hitting, I'm going to start beating my Asian girl. The only thing saving her is Matsui doing well. Woe is her if he starts slumping. EDIT: I make the statement, and then Cano drives in Matsui for a 1-0 lead. Move over Hank.

    I can't evaluate pitching for s***. I've traded away Peavy, Sheets, and Shields. Dammit. I have more pitching to trade. Anyone interested? I am super-stocked for pitchers. I need hitters. I'd be more willing to trade some of my bench pitchers for some bench players [depth] but I'll trade the big guys as well.

    That's any pitcher Jacko. Kennedy should watch tapes of Rasner. Basically, Kennedy is Rasner, just a younger version. If he can attack the strike zone the same way, he could be a decent pitcher.

    Damn. I need a new trade partner. Every time I give up a player, he does awesome. Josh Hamilton, Jake Peavy, James Shields. s***. LOL!

    Cashman is terrible. Sadly, half the people here would do a more competent job than he does. We don't get paid a million a year to do it either. Don't worry JHB. The Yankees will be there at the end. We always are. It's just the fact that they are put together by a moron that kills me. As for Girardi, he is a fantastic in-game manager. No one notices because they aren't doing that well, but he really hasn't done much wrong so far.
