It is an absolute joke that this team has only 2 hits off Beckett. Beckett essentially has no location tonight and we cannot capitalize. He's left more pitches over the plate in 5IP tonight than he did in his last 2 starts vs the Yanks combined. Instead, we swing through cockshots, chase bad pitches, and give away outs on the bases. A joke of a performance by our offense. CC better keep his s*** together, cause this offense is on the rag

I never thought that someone's patience would go with time. Typically, the patience improves and the hitting skills erode. Jeter chases a ball that starts below the knees and drops even lower. Goddamn, he sucks.

Good to see you pop back in. Yeah, intentionally. CC did the noble thing and went for the thigh. The sox hit 4 of our guys, knocked one out of the game and Papi showed up the team. That opens up all possibilities, including going high. Hitting Papi sent a mild message. Eye for an eye and taking him out for the night would have sent a stronger message.
