So Yanks got some good news on Lemahieu. No surgery needed, should be 100% come ST. Doesn't meant they can pencil him in as a starter. With the OF market dried up and trades less likely, I think the team will look as follows
C- Trevino- hit over his head in the first half, cratered the second but was awesome behind the plate calling, blocking and throwing
1B- Rizzo- assuming his back can stay healthy, the old man can swat for sure
2B- Torres- still a very good regular, alternates massive production with tremendous droughts
SS- Peraza/IKF- I think we see IKF out the gate, I think Peraza takes his job. The kid has all 5 tools and is ready. IKF was holding the place for him
3B- Donaldson/Lemahieu- I think this will start out as a true time share. If Donaldson's bat returns, then Lemahieu will be deployed as a super sub. If it doesn't they'll lean on DJ in the POs but limit his time in the field as much as they can
LF- Cabrera- Oswaldo displayed amazing defense and after an adjustment period, hit well. Hicks will be there if he stumbles, but Hicks likes to stumble too
CF- Bader- I love this kid. Too bad he is only here for a year. We will get GG defense, offense can be hit or miss
RF- Judge- All Rise, HOF track career thus far
DH- Stanton et al- Stanton needs to be given the Lemahieu treatment. Stanton was a world beater before getting hurt and came back looking hurt. I would rotate guys into this role and cap Stanton at 100 games. We have the depth to cover for him
Plan needs to be health for the POs. We killed it last year first three months then guys went down. Need to load manage and ensure to the best you can that your whole offense will be there and not limping come October
I would still like to see another middle of the order style bat come in. Because when Judge goes cold, the offense cannot hit
