    Clemens will most likely want to join a team midway through the season. So you can either have 5 some seasons of Beckett or half of a season of Clemens. Its not that hard of a decision.

    Wasted money, he would more then likely only play half a season, and we need all the cap room we have for bullpen help.

    I realize Jeter is a good player, but i just can't like him. Maybe its the way he chews his gum, or the way he tells the Ump to "talk to the hand" before hes ready in the batters box, i dont know. I do like Mussina and Bernie a lot though. Bernie is a hippie and made an album, and Mussina is just so classy.

    He he, i just remembered another one. At the yankee game, probally around April-May, Foulke came in to reliieve when we were blowing them away and A-Rod hit a homer to the Monster. Some idiot Yankee fan took the ball danced around and threw it on the field so Manny went to it picked it up and put it in his back pocket. It was awesome.

    You cant deny that hes funny. Anyone have funny manny stories? I remember one last year when the team was in the clubhouse watching the Yankees, Jeter hit a triple and only manny was clapping.

    I compare him to Manny because If hes moved and Drew is signed then Drew will most likely become the number 5 hitter, and their offensive caliber is just not comparible. In the long run it may be a good move depending on who they can get for him but thinking of next year it doesnt look good at all

    Ortiz-Ramirez-Drew would be nice but Ortiz-Drew makes me cry. Drew and Manny arent comparable offensively

    I agree, you have to look within before you think up trades. He was a stud. Dont know why im thinking about this but im just remembering Hansack, could he go to the pen?

    I dont think so. He was jusst stating the obvious. Its nothing personal but Drew and Manny arent even in the same universe offensively.

    This leans to the Sox hands down. Williams wont deal with Crede next year anyway because his agent is Boras, and Fields is close to ready. Freddy has been extremely iffy, so you get someone who is iffy and younger, and Figgins can replace the speed they need from Pods.

    It makes absolutely no sense if Jeter wins (which he will), Why not vote Cabrera in the NL hes similiar to Jeter. Awards suck.

    After Watching that it looks like hes improved a lot since then. Here it seems his control isnt as good as the Videos in the WBC.

    My dad is a White Sox fan and so was i until i could think on my own so i like Frank a lot. Not looking forward to seeing him though.

    I think Most teams got rid of him only because of the return they could get on him. I mean the Yankees traded him because their strategy was sell young, buy the established. Its because hes so young is why hes being traded. You can get good players if hes in a deal because of his potential. Personally i think going after Drew is a bad Option, I know ORS and some others disagree but i think he should be given the chance.

    Oh my, he hit .191 and was going up near the end. I think hes gonna be fine next year. Edit: And its Friggin manny? He didnt want to play when he knew it meant nothing. You are aware He had the highest average on our rather pathetic offense (aside from Papi), right?
