  1. Dwight Howard
  2. He's also had more than his share of good starts! A one hitter? It was only 3 starts ago
  3. I was talking about Schilling. Some friends of mine want him gone because of the 2 bad starts, saying that he has nothing left in the tank.
  4. He's got a pretty good jumpshot, some nice post moves and a soft touch around the basket. And as always, being really tall helps in basketball. He and Carlos Boozer used to be a fearsome front court. Do you think Duncan had poor shooting percentages in certain games just by chance? As far as I know, he, Rasheed Wallace and Kevin Garnett bother TD to a certain extent because they are "long" defenders
  5. Sorry, it was a bit misleading. I am a baseball fan, but I don't think of myself as fickle. You won't see me start a thread about how a guy needs to leave after 2 bad starts for example
  6. Believe me, I know what you mean. I get incredibly tired of watching Ginobili and Oberto flail their arms at the slightest bit of contact. Anyway, Zydrunas Ilgauskas is not a good player? He's an all-star and a terrific defender. He was the franchise player before LBJ took over
  7. Because I like the Red Sox. Wasn't that obvious?
  8. Baseball fans sure are fickle...
  9. I meant he was overlooked in this series. He went up against a 7'3" Zydrunas Ilgauskas, a physical defender in Drew Gooden and a flopping genius in Anderson Varejao. You're right, the Cavs didn't have anyone to defend him. That's because Parker spend the majority of the nights going up against either an incredibly young guy, or an incredibly old guy (for NBA standards).
  10. Tony Parker getting Finals MVP was horrible IMO. The vote wasn't even close as Parker won it 9-1 against Duncan (the only person voting for Duncan was Mark Stein). I guess when you do all the intangibles and you're consistently good, you deserve to be overlooked.
  11. It's not really an overnight thing
  12. I think it's a good idea. Doc has shown that he can really work with younger players, considering the average age of the Celtics is, what, 25?
  13. Foulke was pretty good himself...so was Timlin the year he filled in. Papelbon's on a different level though
  14. ^The butterfly effect; the Red Sox could have very well won with Crisp in the line up as well That was a sweet shot, but it doesn't change the arguments about WMP. He still can't hit anything but fastballs, but I don't think anyone is arguing that. That was an amazingly clutch shot off a good pitcher
  15. Some people actually think insults add something to their argument
  16. You'd have to examine them using a dollar per output scale
  17. I like the idea of sending him to Triple A, but I doubt it'd happen
  18. I was gonna say Bruce Willis
  19. If people want to complain about expensive signings, they should look at Dice-K first, lol
  20. I'm glad you think I gauge a player with consideration only to the start of a season.
  21. I'm not too impressed with WMP right now either, but I don't think there are any gaping weaknesses withe the Red Sox at the moment other than a subpar bullpen.
  22. http://www.nbadraft.net/admincp/profiles/gregoden.html Oden is drawing comparisons to David Robinson. You can't go wrong with him
  23. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say still Schill
  24. China's really prospering isn't it?
