    Geeze, the game threads are getting shorter and shorter. You know what they say, it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. At least we were winning at two points in the game

    I find the only thing worse than the Red Sox's recent skid is their fanbase of suicidal followers. I see. I figured Wells would finish off his career in Boston since the people here love him. Trading him seemed like the ultimate white flag. A lot of people have already given up on the season, but I haven't. I understand the trade from the standpoint that it was designed to benefit Wells..other than that, trading 1/3 of the Red Sox's remaining healthy and solid starters seemed asinine. Was this directed at me? Your belief that baseball IQ is proportional to one's posts is unbelievable.

    Why does everyone always want to trade players? I agree that things need to be shaken up, but Wells has been doing a fine job. There's no reason to trade one of the Sox's most consistent pitchers. The Sox's slump is disappointing as hell, but I'm not losing faith. The Red Sox are still a contender
