    I think Doerr is the only one who ranks higher than Pedroia. But that's not really saying much; historically 2B hasn't been a great position for the Sox.

    Can this boycott include any and all Red Sox related message boards? On topic, while I would cream trou if we got Gonzalez and Bell (and at this point, I'm fine with just about any deal as long as it is restricted to prospects), I am wary of getting too excited after doing the same for Johan Santana in 2008, Mark Teixeira in 2009 and Adrian Gonzalez Pt 1 in 2010.

    I think I have the best player and the best bench here, and I think the rest of the starting positions are pretty damn close. I'm voting for myself. 3-3.

    I didn't watch today but I agree, a couple more things go our way yesterday (mainly free throws but also rebounding--Pitt got way too many offensive boards), we could have stolen it.

    Lost again, this time 80-76 to Illinois. Would have been nice to win a game against a ranked team early on, but oh well. We have two home cupcakes coming up against Delaware State and Elon, then on the road against Penn State before Temple in the BB&T classic. Does anyone know how good Penn State is? EDIT: And yes, almost all of my basketball posts will be about UMD.

    No posts here makes me sad. Pitt-Maryland was a mess of a game. Pitt kept trying to give it away but Maryland had trouble on the boards and was terrible at the line. I only caught some of the Texas-Illinois game but it was a good one, went into OT.

    It's certainly not a big splash but I like Miller's potential more than Richardson's. I certainly don't expect much out of Miller but I'm more hopeful than I would be with Rich.
