  1. Prediction: Braves in 5.
  2. Prediction: Phillies in 3.
  3. Prediction: Rays in 3.
  4. In my opinion this is the most evenly matched series of the first round. Both teams secured their spot in the playoffs on the last day of the season, and I could easily see this series going either way. This is the first playoff appearance for Atlanta since 2005, the last of their 14 year stretch. It's been since 2003 for San Francisco. I'd like to see the Braves make a run in Bobby Cox's last season. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/da/2010_NLDS.svg/217px-2010_NLDS.svg.png http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/f2/Atlanta_Braves.svg/250px-Atlanta_Braves.svg.png v. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/58/San_Francisco_Giants_Logo.svg/216px-San_Francisco_Giants_Logo.svg.png Atlanta Braves (91-71) at San Francisco Giants (92-70) Game Matchup Day Date Time ET TV Gm 1 ATL @ SF Thu Oct. 7 9:37 p.m. TBS Gm 2 ATL @ SF Fri Oct. 8 9:37 p.m. TBS Gm 3 SF @ ATL Sun Oct. 10 4:37 p.m. TBS Gm 4* SF @ ATL Mon Oct. 11 8:37 p.m. TBS Gm 5* ATL @ SF Wed Oct. 13 9:37 p.m. TBS Pitching Matchups: Derek Lowe (16-12, 4.00 ERA, 1.36 WHIP) v. 5. The defending NL Champs and 2008 World Champions are once again the favorites in the National League, and go up against a young, October-inexperienced Reds team. This is the first postseason appearance since 1995 for Cincinnati. I don't see the Phillies losing this series, not with the rotation they have. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/da/2010_NLDS.svg/217px-2010_NLDS.svg.png http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/01/Cincinnati_Reds_Logo.svg/216px-Cincinnati_Reds_Logo.svg.png v. http://orgtheory.files.wordpress.com/2007/07/phillies_logo1.jpg Cincinnati Reds (91-71) at Philadelphia Phillies (97-65) Game Matchup Day Date Time ET TV Gm 1 CIN @ PHI Wed Oct. 6 5:07 p.m. TBS Gm 2 CIN @ PHI Fri Oct. 8 6:07 p.m. TBS Gm 3 PHI @ CIN Sun Oct. 10 7:07 p.m. TBS Gm 4* PHI @ CIN Mon Oct. 11 5:07 p.m. TBS Gm 5* CIN @ PHI Wed Oct. 13 6:07 p.m. TBS Pitching Matchups: Edinson Volquez (4-3, 4.31 ERA, 1.50 WHIP) v. 6. The Rays are heavily favored here and I don't see this series getting back to Tampa. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d9/2010_ALDS.svg/218px-2010_ALDS.svg.png http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/41/Texas_Rangers.svg/250px-Texas_Rangers.svg.png v. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/c6/Tampa_Bay_Rays.svg/250px-Tampa_Bay_Rays.svg.png Texas Rangers (90-72) at Tampa Bay Rays (96-66) Game Matchup Day Date Time ET TV Gm 1 TEX @ TB Wed Oct. 6 1:37 p.m. TBS Gm 2 TEX @ TB Thu Oct. 7 2:37 p.m. TBS Gm 3 TB @ TEX Sat Oct. 9 5:07 p.m. TBS Gm 4* TB @ TEX Sun Oct. 10 1:07 p.m. TBS Gm 5* TEX @ TB Tue Oct. 12 5:07 p.m. TBS Pitching Matchups: Cliff Lee (12-9, 3.18 ERA, 1.00 WHIP) v. 7. Once again the Yankees and Twins meet up in the ALDS, but this time Minnesota has home field advantage. We saw a reversal of the trend in the Red Sox-Angels series last year, hopefully (for most of this board), we will see a similar flip. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d9/2010_ALDS.svg/218px-2010_ALDS.svg.png http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/2/25/NewYorkYankees_PrimaryLogo.svg/300px-NewYorkYankees_PrimaryLogo.svg.png v. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/61/MinnesotaTwins.PNG New York Yankees (95-67) at Minnesota Twins (94-68) Game Matchup Day Date Time ET TV Gm 1 NYY @ MIN Wed Oct. 6 8:37 p.m. TBS Gm 2 NYY @ MIN Thu Oct. 7 6:07 p.m. TBS Gm 3 MIN @ NYY Sat Oct. 9 8:37 p.m. TBS Gm 4* MIN @ NYY Sun Oct. 10 8:07 p.m. TBS Gm 5* NYY @ MIN Tue Oct. 12 8:37 p.m. TBS Pitching Matchups: CC Sabathia (21-7, 3.18 ERA, 1.19 WHIP) v. 8. What I want: Twins-Reds What I think: Rays-Phillies
  9. I'll be on and off tomorrow basically all day, I'll take them.
  10. This wedding is horseshit!
  11. Percy Harvin, WR/KR/PR
  12. Understandable, I finally had time to fix it today.
  13. Congrats to the Yankees on another postseason berth. Definitely not my favorite baseball season, but you guys earned it.
  14. Sure, sounds fun. Count me in (with the same warning I gave for football--I don't know nearly as much about basketball as I do baseball).
  15. I don't like the Stinchcomb pick literally only because of his name. And I think I fixed the chart, but if anyone sees any problems tell me.
  16. Sorry about all the mistakes in the chart, I'll do my best to fix them now.
  17. I have a Gov midterm tomorrow, priorities.
  18. DeMeco Ryans, ILB
  19. My bad, added Tuck. Is anyone else missing?
  20. Isn't the whole point of this exercise to analyze your and other's teams?
