  1. BS21...no I never thought they had a chance....but I thought they'd muster at least 20 shots on goal, not be behind 2-0 in the first 2 minutes and maybe start a fight once they knew they'd lose. Hapless is a word that came to mind when watching the debacle unfold.
  2. I haven't scene him at all.
  3. laid an egg
  4. Not sure exactly what the deal is. If I understood correctly, on NESN's broadcast schedule they list the Bruins game...but there's is an entry in RED that says "alternate programming for Connecticut" and indicates in CT we'll get the Sox, not the B's. I have a wedding rehearsal dinner anyway, but I wanted to tape it and watch the replay when I get home...wonder if at midnight they'll do the B's replay here in CT.
  5. Its' a shame about the Yanks offensive start. Didn't ARod have 22 Hrs this time last year? Did he go off the 'roids, perhaps?
  6. Looks like the B's vs. Habs will NOT be shown on NESN tonight in Connecticut...at least not on Comcast. But I will be treated to Detroit vs. Nashville on Versus. What the f*ck?
  7. Two series I'll be watching closely.... Bruins...obviously Devils-Rangers: I hate the Rangers. I don't care for the Devils that much, but I do hate the Rangers with a passion. This shoudl be, as always, a very intense series. My guess is I'll be watching the Devs-Rangers a couple games beyond the B's elimination at the hand of the Habs.
  8. I'll say: Habs in 5 Pitts in 5 Flyers in 7 Devils in 6 Detroit in 5 Sharks in 6 Avs in 6 Anaheim in 6
  9. and when compared to the potentially plentiful lousy performances he'll put up this year, heck, this might be viewed as a very good start for him. At least I hope so.
  10. For anyone wondering if the Bruins would play any meaningful games this year...tonight is one of 'em. Look at the standings in the Eastern Conference...they're tighter around the 7th and 8th spots than a heterosexual's ass in the prison shower.
  11. OK, here's the inside scoop: First, FYI, hawks have excellent hearing...but they do tend to jump to conclusions, and not listen to the whole conversation... Anyway, seems that this girl was talking to a friend and said something to the effect of "I remember when" and used the number "26" in the conversation... and the hawk concluded that she was another whiny Yankee fan living in the past, so it attacked, inflicting a superficial wound, then screached "2004, 2004" at the injured teen. f***in' hawks....blessed with all the tools but just won't listen.
  12. If it were Yankee Stadium the rats would eat the hawks.
  13. I saw it...crazy man.
  14. Well, it beats him sticking his tool in a blow-up doll. sorry, Riv. Had to, just had to.
  15. Nope...you showed tremendous foresight in believing they had a chance to represent the AAAA in getting dismantled by the Sox.
  16. uhhh...you could blindfold him with thread? can I say that?
  17. Even with Bergeron in the line-up, this team is just not that talented.
  18. Who's starting for the Yankees...Ian Kennedy? LaTroy Hawkins?
  19. Bruins tied for the 6th spot right now with, I think, 2 other teams (which means they could easily be 8th as well). If they wind up playing the Habs in the 1st round they're likely done. Actually they're likely done no matter who they play, but I'd like to see them vs. Carolina if possible.
  20. I used to go to a lot Bruins games when they'd play Hartford in the mall. At times it was almost like a home game for the Bruins due to huge contingents of B's fans. For the most part it was both fan bases cheering for their teams. There were some knuckleheads, though, that felt it appropriate to antagonize...and some pretty ugly scenes erupted from the animosity. I saw one Hartford fan get pelted with a beer as he walked down the stairs...and he was a big dude. He went after the guy that did it, and that guy ran like a pussy...as the Htd fan went back down the stairs, a B's fan ran up behind him and kicked him in the back...and ran away. It was disgusting and cowardly. No one would take this guy on face to face. Yes there are douche bags firmly entrenched within every team's fan base.
  21. From Aol. Sports An anal fissure is an unnatural crack or tear in the anus skin. As a fissure, these tiny tears may show as bright red rectal bleeding and cause severe periodic pain after defecation. Most anal fissures are caused by stretching of the anal mucosa beyond its capability. Various causes of this fissure include: * Straining to defecate, especially if the stool is hard and dry * Severe and chronic constipation * Severe and chronic diarrhea * Crohn's disease and Ulcerative colitis * Tight sphincter muscles * Anal intercourse Could this have been the start of it all? http://azdiamondhacks.mlblogs.com/./photos/uncategorized/kazuohottub_1.jpg
  22. I saw this video and while I love fighting in hockey I don't like what I saw there. What a piece of crap...there is a code in hockey and when a guy is not fighting back you back off after a few shots. What a piece of sh*t that kid...and his old man...are. Still don't know why the other goalie let him walk up and pull of the mask and wail on him. 7 games for the kid, 5 for the Dad. Both should be out for a year.
