  1. Hinske starting at first base and batting 6th...are you kidding me? :dunno:
  2. What a game. Tony Allen putting up 30 and playing 48 minutes....48 minutes...interesting. BIG AL Jefferson 28 points and 10 boards...another monster game. 4 in a row, division leaders, and a good chance at making it 5 in a row tomorrow night against Charlotte.
  3. 64 points, sorry.

  5. He hit a few shots tonight and he was a great defender last season, shutting down the likes of Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter at times, but you have to admit that he lost some confidence in the early parts of this season. He's mainly been a drive to the hoop player who should avoid dribbling at all costs because of his turnovers. It looks as if he's gainign confidence as he made some nice jumpers tonight and he's beginning to look more aware on the defensive end. He's had some unfortunate circumstances early in his career and hopefully he can develop into a good player.
  6. 3 game winning streak. Tony Allen seems to be coming along even though he's still pretty one dimensional. Big Al was an absolute animal on the boards with 13 rebounds and a sick 3 block play on Webber. Hopefully we can continue the streak and beat Denver on friday.
  7. How about we just put him on the bench and worry about more important issues.
  8. The bottom line is that 103 million dollars is an incredible amount of money to be invested in someone who has never thrown a pitch in an MLB game and he better be one hell of a pitcher. I will not accept anything but greatness from this guy.
  9. Where'd you hear that rumor?
  10. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N611JW Track Matsuzaka.
  11. If a player isn't capable of pitching more than 6 and a fraction, you can't blame it on the manager. The pitcher either had bad control or wasn't hitting his spots on that day.
  12. I think Francis is the #1 but Cook is definitely one of the most underappreciated pitchers in baseball. The man came back from a life threatening injury and turned in a very productive season last year, especially considering the fact that he pitches in Coors.
  13. That would be a pretty big let down if he didn't end up signing with us but all signs point to an imminent deal.
  14.
  15. He will have between 16-18 wins with an ERA somewhere around 3.30.
  16. Good deal for the Rockies.
  17. http://www.boston.com/sports/hockey/bruins/articles/2006/12/12/medical_issue_for_kessel/ Really sad news, hopefully he has a successful recovery.
  18. Get well soon. Phil the thrill was one of the few Bruins that I was pulling for because it looked like he had a promising career in front of him.

  20. Thank god Shaun Alexander failed me for yet another game and ended my playoff run in my ESPN league.
  21. If you want to see extremely over-optimistic fans, go to celticsblog.com. Some people over there are saying that they'd rather keep Big Al than trade him for Garnett after just one game. http://celticsblog.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12965 http://celticsblog.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12972 I mean, he had a great game...no question about that, but let's see him put it together for a few games before we put him in the hall of fame.
