  1. It's a business. He has the right to do what he wants which may or not come with constant bickering from fans of his ex-team. In this case, expect bitching from Dolphins fans for the next decade or two.
  2. I saw him pitch in Seattle over the summer. He definitely has good stuff at times and hopefully he can provide some bullpen help.
  3. Here's the part that's the most ridiculous, http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,235599,00.html?sPage=fnc.business/media Malicious?..Wow.
  4. ...better chance than the Yankees. Yeah, I said it.
  5. The Cubs have had a great offseason in my opinion. Alfonso Soriano is a huge middle of the lineup threat who should post all-star numbers all season. When you pair Soriano with a healthy D.Lee and a newly re-signed Aramis Ramirez, that's a lethal 3-4-5 combination. They also signed Mark Derosa, Kerry Wood, and Ted Lilly. My prediction is that Lilly will fare very well in the NL central.
  6. Red Sox, Celtics, and Jets. A winning combination.
  7. Yes, this board definitely picks up around baseball season. Red Sox board...fans come to talk about the Red Sox...should make sense. Personally, I'm bored as hell reading thread after thread about J.D Drew and the bullpen when nothing is settled yet so that's why the off-topic and other sports sections are busy now.
  8. Lastings Milledge is the man, don't believe me? http://milledgefacts.blogspot.com/ Honestly, I think Milledge ie being tossed around like spare change in rumors. He has great talent and was mentioned as one of the integral parts of a Manny deal not too long ago. His reputation has really taken a hit and the Mets might regret parting ways with such a promising young OF if they keep lowering his value.
  9. J..E..T..S JETS JETS JETS.
  10. I haven't read it but I'll probably get around to it eventually.
  11. Not a bad point.
  12. Wow, that sucks. He was actually one of my favorite CBs. 2nd rounder from Oklahoma State and he had a ton of potential to be a great corner. R.I.P.
  13. True, he even gave them plenty of time to plan their replacement for him.
  14. And the worst part is that the 2nd decision was basically forced upon him because of injuries. One thing Doc is great at is making diehard fans who stay up to watch the whole game even when it's on the west coast (very rare, there's probably only 2 on talksox) sick to their stomachs after watching his rotations. This season has been a real roller coaster ride so far because the perspective changes after every win or loss. On one hand, when we lose, we're one game closer to a stacked lottery but when we win, we're only a handful games out of first place. I guess we'll have a better view of things when Pierce returns but until then, this team will be inconsistent at best, winless at worst.
  15. Yeah, I can't wait to see the names. When do you think they'll go public?
