    duke has one of the best coaches in the nation they have the premier shooting guard and a smart point guard who was the top recruited qb coming out of high school last year they will own the tempo if you let them,skinner allowed it to happen and the devils were up 17 before you could say TIME OUT. those turnovers im somewhat ok with considering the venue. it was when they were forcing the ball inside into smith when he was being doubled that drove me nuts... hinnant had his best game in a bc uniform,he played bigger than the 12 he got rice didnt but hes a freshman,in 6 weeks look for him to be ready for the tourney where the fuk was sean williams last nite? scoreless,no blocks,0-3 from the field?? this was his chance to shine and a minimul performance by him may have changed things im not upset i figured duke to lay the wood to them and the underdog eagles didnt make it easy for them

    bc shot the ball well but had too many unforced turnovers to beat a legit nat champ contender again i go back to the huge disparity in free throws that wouldve made the difference. duke won great night for basketball and bc certainly didnt hurt themselves in the grand scheme of things by competing till the final buzzer...

    coco is a great fit here if he handles the lites which i dont think he'll have a problem with if you go thru life with the name"" coco crisp"" im sure you can handle adversity of any kind. i'm prepared to give youkilis every oppurtunity to win the 1st base job but jt snow is a solid glove with more pop and certainly a viable option if youk cant cut it with the glove. renteria had 34? errors last year 10 of them wouldve been prevented by a 1st baseman not named millar.

    with the 1998 all stars ready to take the field with matsui in left at 12per damon in center at 13 per and sheff in right at ?? compiled with the fact that they set attendence records and still took an 80,000,000.00 loss dont figure damons words as being seriously considered by cashman. with johnny boy in tow look for 5,000,000 new pink ny hats being sold before 4-1 the man is a merchanidizers wetdream...speaking of wet has michelle damon joined r kelly and sheffields wife under ""the golden shower"" just yet? patience its coming

    they were there till the end how does duke shoot 36 free throws to bcs 13? the duke ball washing continues but as evidenced last nite theyre flawwed big time redick continues to amaze me slow white short guys dont make it in the pros unless..... unless theyre in range when the team bus pulls in the parking lot as this guy is. good effort from the eagles move on to the next 1 now duke endeavors to perservere again they'll be heard from in march but i like uconn nova and memphis better

    mota couldnt win the closers job in montreal with steve kline as his competetion a couple years ago...he had a 4.70 era last year in the national league which translates into L's in the american league riske's american league #s are solid over the last 3 years era high of 3.72 in 04 with an era low of 2.29 in 03 and a very respectable 3.07 last year they needed a .300 hitting centerfielder with a little pop they got 1 on the cheap and a young 1 at that before anyone crowns marte the mvp winner lets see him play an entire year in the big leagues... he has tremendous upside however atlanta has a good record with player development and they dumped him for edgar rentaria?? that in itself smells.

    i had the knicks +5.5 last night they got beat by 40 i had texas tech monday night +13.5 they were down 14 with 3 to play and went scoreless and kansas didnt attempt a fg niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice 4.5 isnt enough in my opinion however my opinion isnt worth s*** these days

    i love the devils here hoss the eagles may be ready for prime time against the likes of gtech but duke is another animal altogether we need a donte bright or a dana dingle character to stick to reddick like teflon i havent seen 3 better shooters in college ever

    penciling in any #s for youk lowell and agon at this point is an exercise in guessing both the florida guys went from being powerful to futile last year just like millar did youk impresses in obp and patience but hasnt had the pressure of playing everyday all day on his shoulders.. as it stands theyve improved their starting and bullpen pitching and are better defensively for sure that in itself is reason to celebrate and to be optimistic for the upcoming season

    damons wife was too big for the boston market she fueded with schills wife over a fkn charity event they were on the page 6 tabloids more than nick jess brad and angelie i loved him he broke his balls for us and did what we paid him 25+ million to do along with the rest of the cast would we have won in 04 without him?? i dont know would we have won without mueller pedro lowe foulke timlin the world series mvp in manny,ortiz etc?? its a team game with defense and pitching being a winning formula evidently they havent figured that out in the bronx as far as johnny goes he gets the 5 minute standing O which he undoubtedly deserves then i hope schilling sticks 1 in his fkn ear

    Or something like that. I think the full time playing will agree with him. He's a solid guy, hard worker, professional hitter, and he has some pop in his bat. what makes you say hes a proffesional hitter? give him 1/2 a season in the show before you blow your money portland or pawtucket aint boston ask phil lancelotti or the 1st basemen who hit 30hrs in pawtucket for us last year

    millar sucked pretty much always he had a big mouth so lets give him credit there has youk ever played 1st base? has he ever hit over 5 hrs in a season?? can he go from 1st to 3rd on a single to right?? why does he deserve the job over snow,a guy with a decent stick and a great glove??

    if duquette had any people skills they wouldve built him a statue on city hall next to the one of auerbachs he didnt roger clemens?? how does a man with such a reputation as a warrior walk out of so many playoff games with (1) trick hammy (2) groin pull (3) dave stewarts balls in his mouth 1 more comment on raja how does the cy young award winner end up a +140 in game 7 of the pennant against the immortal jeff suppan,a stiff who couldnt even make our playoff roster the year before??

    i dont see youk hitting 10 hrs next year theres nothing to suggest he will snow best be ready for 100 games i think lowell,in this ballpark,on this team,may see enough good pitches to hit to bat .270 his lack of power in the post steroid league is scary however lots of questions and the only answers so far is theo is back

    2 things come to mind regarding dean smith down town freddy brown feeding worthy with 15 seconds left chris webber calling time out with none left down 1 with the ball getting 3 i took it in the ass in both events 11 years apart

    that was a special nite you dont get to see dean smith breakdown in tears and blame the officials for allowing bc to cheat all that often dean smith the only man alive to hold michael jordan under 20 a game consistantly

    bc was getting 2.5 i had state too as they were laying 1.5 at ann arbor i almost a&r'd em as the arab had the boys from lansing too honest to god their best performance in years occured last nite
