  1. Players don't come up with their own arbitration figures. agreed and home town discounts dont cost 18,000,000.00 either
  2. are you on the east side of the mississippi mr light? an avid kennedy man??
  3. thanks for the call caulksucker
  4. ya it did wonders for carl pavano who missed the last 4months with tendonitis it was wonderful for jose contreras who almost had a nervous breakdown javier vasquez thrived in that environment kevin brown should be ready for april as he was hell driven by thoughts of yanks glory johnny d has spoken about boston in everyone of his interviews and talk shows now he sends what amounts to an apology letter if you read thru the lines. the bronx will turn on him if he comes out of the gates slowly and he wont feel the enigmatic love in the flowing cesspool of jerome ave as he did on yawkee way but he has an extra 2 m per to fall back on
  5. why are these douchebags gambling to begin with? for the money? i would think trying to rebuild a hockey franchise in death valley would be action enuff no?? i love this s***.
  6. he cant say goodbye hes already struggling with his decision maybe he caught his wife applying for an r&b video with sheffs wife?? when he breaks out going 3-40 and the yanks are 4 out come april 15th he'll write a 250 page apology and ask forgiveness
  7. ive been thinking about this for a couple days now lets face facts he took the home town discount in houston then proceeded to stick an 18million dollar arbitration victory up the ass of dray mcclain.he wont be in houston by logical thinking he had his a.l grand finale 3 years ago he'll look like a fool negotiating with the yanks as andy petitte wallows in houston who is he posturing for? texas maybe?...theyve been known to overpay october failures big bucks, ask mayrod.... could it really be that hes coming here? i think he gets a charge out of this sort of like brittany spears teasing the papparazzi..... f*** him
  8. once again i saved you from yourself you wanted kentucky i gave you the under and put money in your pocket i didnt see the nc game,i took the v.o. nap but they did cover the 5.5 great hoop
  9. clemens the big game cy young award winner was an underdog to jeff fukin suppan in last years game 7. jeff suppan couldnt make our playoff roster the year before and now hes a favorite over the legend that is roger?? why is that?? its that way because everyone who ever made a bet on a big game starring roger clemens knew enough not to do that again.. if its may 1st and ive got a 6 run lead theres nobody out there i'd want more than clemens if its october? i send him home to kobe and kerry and kotex and his darling wife debbie who had to carry her own bags while they suffered in boston. f*** roger clemens
  10. i'd love to see him in ny but after he was humiliated in game 1 of the world series i dont think he'll come back.
  11. 150,000,000 people have the benefit of slow motion instant replay. There was no conclusive evidence to say that it was not a TD -- therefore it was not overturnable. I agree that he wasn't in, but I can't say that I'm anywhere close to 100% certain this is a good point my point is 150,000,000 people didnt see him cross the plane except the guy who had to make the call and if you noticed,he hesitated which essentially means he didnt see him cross,he guessed on the call and he guessed wrong.
  12. 2 tds called back on seattle,1 for the ""push off"" which consisted of an extension of the wideouts hand to maintain balance, the other on a phantom hold 1 call put them on the 35 instead of 1st and goal on the 1 ona another phantom hold someone saw gentle ben cross the goal line and called it a td although 150,000,000 people who watched on tv didnt see it,the one guy in charge of making the call did. as far as seattle blowing the remainder of the game i agree the big mouth tight end dropped some huge balls the wide out insisted on playing the sidelines as if he were the D back and the star of the f*** ups,mr holmgren....they had the ball on the 30 with 56 seconds to play kick the field goal mike and your down 8 with 50 to play then you play for the onsides kick instead of throwing 4 hail maries in the endzone never mind the pathetic clock management that cost them 3 in the 1st half holmgren is 2 desmond howard kickoff returns away from being bud grant and marv levys bastard off spring
  13. He is a poor man's Joe Torre. A players manager joe torre?? if there were an award for underachieving they'd name it the JOE TORRE AWARD only 1 manager in mlb history came back from being down 0-3 only 1 manager blew a 3-0 lead only 1 manager had a 200million dollar payroll and didnt win every year they sign the best players available every year they bag the best available pitcher how long before steinberger wakes to the fact that theyre 0 for the century and losing money in the process??
  14. for the record the yankees last year lost more money than the chicago white sox entire payroll.
  15. hard to take anything away from pitt....Ya right are the zebras getting a full playoff share?
  16. i can understand why the yank fans dont understand the game of baseball after listening to kay and his butch for 3 hours a nite. its not your fault keep saying it its not your fault ""joe says alex is a gamer and alex says jeter taught him to handle the media and kevin was being playful and jorge blushed when i asked him how beautiful i thought his wife is"" my god make it stop somehow i like kaat 10000Xs better
  17. yaz thanks for the heads up im in off topic here we lost our friday nite bartender last nite she calls in sick at 430 and her daughter calls her in dead at 630?? unfukinbelievable amazing how bloody fleeting life is. rip miss jeannie aldrich you'll be missed my darlin
  18. pavano spent 4 months on the dl because of tendonitis? generally a shot of b-12 or cortizone can get you on the field unless the tendonitis is in your scrotum.. i loved pavano and thought he was the stud to turn the yanks into champs again. man he failed so miserably i doubt he can come back and be the man.
  19. according to thomas""Hollywood"" henderson terry bradshaw is so dumb he couldnt spell cat if you spotted him the C and the A. good morning hammer hows the middlesex perimeter treating you?
  20. i like seattle to win the game outright, never mind the 4 point cushion. pitt hasnt run the ball at all in the playoffs their qb has played unreal and hines ward is all that HOWEVER they beat a cinci team that lost their qb on the 1st pass of the game they beat an indy team that quit a week before xmas they beat a denver team that shouldve been eliminated the week before sure they won 3 on the road in difficult conditions but i feel all 3 were very flawwed at the time seattle is an enigma as well who knows how bad the nfc really is,we know the west sucks we know the central sucks and we suspect the east of sucking worse that being said theyve played 1 less game in the playoffs, that does matter at this stage of the season. they run the ball very well and did at will against a stout carolina team their defense has been grossly underated and has stopped everyone its a crap shoot and its certainly no lock but with the more balanced team having what amounts to be an extra week of rest i like seattle to handle the steelers in a close game im thinking 20-14 seattle and the under over here.
  21. michael k?? my god i thought we wanted children to learn this game ""i was sitting with derek and he told me alex liked suzy and jorge just blushed and randy was being recalcitrant"" WHAT?? is this baseball or the guiding fkn light? kay and the butch should be pistol whipped in front of their children till the white meat shows.. jesus, michael kay? and we wonder where the english speaking ball players went?
  22. could be after 40 years of sox baseball im a pessimist at best im thinking damon has a good year in ny..15 80 .295 110 runs..obp of .385-400 with lots of range our guy will have similar #s with less obp but damon will trail off in the next few years while crisp will be coming on..
  23. hinnant was 4-7 from the 3 28 from the small forward the freshman was 1-10? or something to that effect but they wont play a better team until the dance. curleys team had scoonie penn and danye abrams as an 8 seed they beat washington nc and indiana before that fkn florida team sunk them those were glorious days for local hoop with umass uconn uri and providence all being decent if not outstanding. speaking of the friars they got tuned up by seton hall and umass got beat by 35 against temple
  24. col good to see you this morning. i trust all is well in the beltway? we may not reap the benefits of crisp instead of damon this year however for the franchises future and in the business end of it you have to like the move. with the sun shining high in the february winter morning i'm slowly wakening from hibernation after what i consider to be a bizzarre if not entertaining off season.
  25. maybe lunch time holmes...for sure by5 the salesmanager just tossed me a pink panther for keeping quiet about his gross negligence. K has earned the respect in my eyes,he always has good kids, kids you may or may not like as basketball players but good kids nonetheless his school recruits itself in hoop ive heard of this pawlus kid from my coworkers in syracuse for a couple years now and this other Mc mac sumthin, the tall white freshman, looks like the real deal as well. as it stands i like bc's oppurtunities in march to get to 16 maybe an 8 and if all the cards are lined up and the heavens open they maybe big and experienced enuff to crack the 4 thats a big if but again they made me proud last nite.
