    I like the Andrew Jones Idea but I wouldnt touch Lester. Maybe hansen but we'll see. I'de love him after manny thats at least 120 homers between the 3 of them.

    This is so right. . .going into this series I was optomistic and thought we had a good team but now I relize that this isnt the year the bullpen just isnt good enough. Unless they drastically turn it around its just not happening this year. But on the bright side, these kids are very good, even beckette is so young that he can easily turn into a dominate pitcher not just some kid who throws hard. Hey, maybe in 2 years this will be the best team in the bigs b/c of these kids who are struggling now. I hate that yankees and hate seeing the Red Sox loose like this. . .it makes me want to scream but Ive got a lot of conifidance in these kids for more success down the years. These kids and a couple more sighnings and we will be very good.

    You cant put loretta on the bench hes jsut played too well for that. Use Pedroia at SS.

    They really need a reliable arm in the bull pen come on. We should have won at least 2 if we had a decent pen.

    Manny is the only one who decided to show up this series. Right now this team is a joke. I dont think there done yet bc they have too much talent but they better get there act togther fast. The Bullpen is amess though, they should haev gone after roberto hernandez or anyone.

    Can Pedoria play short? I really like Loretta hes such a solid player. I lvoe him in the two spot.

    First off my mistake on the pedoria comment i havnt checked his stats in a while and now its seems that yes hes ready for the big leagues. Anyway I dont know if this has been mentioned but SI spoke about moving papelbon to the rotation this year. Thats somthing i disagree with bc its jsut too late to build up arm strength, but I think it shows clearly that they would be better off with him in the rotation in 2007. They even say that teams often make the mistake of wasting quality arms in the bullpen. I think they defently need to move him to the rotation next year and we can defently find a quality closer for a year unill hansen is ready

    They are still in it, they are just going threw a touch stretch where nothing is clicking. ..maybe tito even has to get thrown out of a game i dont know. The yankees were back 3 games at one point too remember? They just are slumping its way to early to quite.

    This is exactly right. He basically only has two pitches. . .remember the game vs the yankees when he didnt have his curve they knew all he had was his fastball. . .forget the NL you cant get that past any major league hitter when they know its coming. He needs another controable pitch.

    You start him next year b/c he will be that good. I liked the gagne idea, im sure there is someone out there to fill in for a year untill hansenis ready. You forgett that hansen and declerman will be better next year. Also about paps first couple starts you cant take much form them especially the walks, what rookie doesnt walk alot in his first few games, man throw him a break. Ide trust hansen and MD next year who ever is more ready, but by all means try and pick someone up. Also what makes you guys think loretta is going to walk. Why wouldnt the sox sigh him back. Hes having a nice season.

    I havnt seen any of the game but jeeze why do we keep using Johnson. He never does anything good. He never gives up like less then 5 runs. its an automatic loss when hes out there. Honestly I rather see anyone else in the organization ptich.

    Uh, yes it hurts he calls every pitch and prepares more then anyone. Its not just varitek if any other team lost a leader like that they'de be in trouble too, espically at cactcher.

    How about Gonzo hitting 276.? Ill take that with his defence. if you ask me hes having a great year for the red sox. 276 im still shocked how good that is for him. I hope the resighn him.

    Okay how many of these hits came when the yankees where already killing the other team like game 3 of the 04 ALCS and then when they need him like say. . .the last 4 games of the ALCS he goes 2-17 or w/e it was. . .somthing awfull. Stats dont tell you everything

    Thats why loretta is such a good hitter. I really hope they keep him next year and let pedoria develop in the minors
