    thanks goodness this guy came out and said it. Baseballs policy is a joke if players can just take somthing else to get around it. This is the 2nd time selif has messed this up. This is his last chance to fix it once and for all. Im sick of havint to be skeptical of whos using what and so forth.

    Haha i hope so. If Donovan can and the strikes can proudce they have a chance. That centerback they have is nasty and I think dempsey will up his game too.

    Lets hope Beckette can get threw the 1st inning and then go on cruise controll. It seems to me that the 1st inning is always tough for him.

    this is a game we should have won. Beckette our "ace" on the mound and we put up 5 runs that should be more then enough.

    Thats not too effective with all those walks but Ill take it. ahhchon your right about papelbones stamina but i wouldnt make him a starter until next year. I dotn want to see him remain the closer though bc I have my doubt of weather hansen can start or not. I just think its a safter bet with hansen closing bc thats what hes always been

    I know but im looking ahead bc I want hason to close because of his amr motion. Are those 4 or 3 pitches enough for him to start?

    I say Mo, Jeter, Mussina and Matsui. I have always like mussina. Ive never really hated jeter hes kind of the anti-arod plays hard. Matsui i just have to respect. Rivera i hate but if itwas the last game ide calp for him hes been great and keeps his mouth shut. And Pinstrip pride your right this is a good thread.

    I think the safe bet is Hansen closing and papelbon starting. Do you thnik Hansen has hte stamina to start. Mabey he can but I think the safe bet is what they were ment to do papelbon starting and hansen closing. If hansen got hurt starting i dont know what ide do

    I was at this game. It was a breeze for him. You are forgetting no matsui no sheff no posada. No DH still. When mussina came to the plate it was a joke even though he gave him a good AB the 2nd time.

    yea but i think last year it was back to back games against the blue jays? he sent someone home in the 9th with the sox down both times and they got thrown out both times. Nieth time was close, youde think hede learn from his mistakes
