    Craig should just be released. There is no way for him to get enough playing time to showcase him. They are wasting time with him.

    Holt should play everyday. He plays several positions better than our starters and he just does everything right and makes good contact most of the time.

    After 6 innings, Jon Lester was at 104 pitches. The Cubs tied up the game at 3 -3 in the top of the 7th. With 2 out, Maddon sent Lester up to bat in the 7th. I switched channels figuring that Lester would make the 3rd out which he did. I switched back to the Cubs game to see Lester throw the 7th inning. A lefty was on the mound, but it was Phil Coke who relieved Lester after 6 innings without Lester throwing a pitch in the 7th inning. What!

    I expected that he would have better instincts in the outfield. Didn't he play the Outfield in our system one season?

    Not Porcello's fault. A decent left fielder catches that ball He makes an adventure of the final out too.

    I didn't need a metric to see that Hanley is not an outfielder. I needed one Spring Training game. The guy broke back hard on an infield pop up. He is a menace out there.

    He started off terrible last year too. By the time he got going it was such an uphill battle that his numbers at the end were below par for him.

    K's up are good, but Home Runs up and ground balls down are not so good. Hopefully, he can make some adjustments.

    To personally attack people that we converse with every day over opinions about sports is pathetic. It just is. No one is accusing these public figures of criminal or immoral behavior. They are public figures and having their performance criticized goes with the territory. Sometimes the criticism is not fair, but it is nothing for people to get worked up about to the point of trashing up the board with personal insults of other members.

    Players, managers, umps and announcers are all fair game. If they do a s***** job, we should expect that people will s*** on them. An appropriate response is not that the poster is this or that. Posts going after posters are just .... well seriously, those people... ugh. What can I say? They feel some need to defend people who don't know they exist. Pathetic.

    Also, the Cubs are calling up Addison Russell to play second base to go along with Bryant. I wonder whether Theo will trade Castro if Russell plays well.

    Although it is very early in the season, it is still interesting to note that the Mets and the Astros are in first place in their divisions.

    Yes, he was getting bashed. When the story about his kid came out, a lot of the bashing stopped. His performance definitely suffered, as he must have been going through a personal hell. Drew was one of the more robotic players in the game. Fundamentally, his game was perfect and he never showed emotion, but no one is a robot, not even Drew.
