    He hit well in AAA and earned another shot thanks to injuries and under performance by the other OFers. I hope that he gets a few hits early on to boost his confidence. This is likely his last shot with us if he doesn't perform.

    It's baseball. It's always fun, no matter what decade and even if your team is in last place. There 's no need to pretend your team is good when they aren't good. They are still your team and baseball is still fun.

    Bradley is a phenomenal fielder, but he has some competition from Lagares on the Mets. People need to see him.

    I think the players only meeting was a good idea to keep guys from checking out mentally. I agree that there are no talent problems with the lineup. There are plenty of options with the offense. They just need to find the right combinations and for a few guys to come out of their funk. You lose me on the pitching. There is a huge talent deficit in the rotation IMO. I don't think they are good enough to keep the team competitive even when the offense kicks in. The staff needs changes.

    It was the only option that the Red Sox had with him. He was not getting on track with the big club. We have to pay him anyway, so let him see if he can figure out things in AAA. He has no trade value other than nominal. The fact that there is $100 million in the AAA outfield while the big club is in last place is bizarre.

    I am pretty sure that he doesn't care about this ^. He's a Yankee fan. His team is in first place and our team is sucking it. He is pretty tame if you ask me. Leave the poster editorial out of it. Save it for the end of year awards vote. Jacko is a good poster. He brings substance and entertainment to the board. We are not going to like many of his posts, because they are coming from a Yankee perspective.

    I have always loved that these 2 guys are so competitive and hate losing and I admire them for caring enough to have this meeting. I don't think this team' s problem is a motivational problem. I think they are giving a full effort. They have some huge talent issues. The players only meeting is a blaring signal that this team is in trouble.

    What I have read indicates that the platoon will be between Bradley and Victorino.

    I am also pretty sure that there is no connecting these moves to salivating fans. The one problem this organization does not have is the fan base which continues to fill the ballpark to watch this inferior team. There is a lot wrong with this team that needs to be addressed if they don't want to fall out of contention early.

    They should stick around for the "I told you so's." Leaving to avoid that is being a punk. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt assuming that they leave because they lose hope. LOL!!

    This had to be done. Hopefully, Bradley will form a good lefty/righty platoon with Victorino.
