  1. There is no way that you are old enough to remember that. My voice was just starting to crack when Mays was with the Mets. BTW, my recollection was that he got traded to the Mets when the Giants were visiting NY and Mays hit a Walk Off Homer Run in his first game for the Mets and the crowd went wild. That was 44 years ago and I watched it on a 19" B&W TV.
  2. He has strikeout stuff which is not influenced by the ballpark.
  3. You are going to earn your money learning and weeding out a whole new group of personalities. I am sure that there are some terrorists who have infiltrated this group of refugees. Ask Yezsir for a raise or OT.
  4. About 50% of his appearances have been starts. This year he is in the SD rotation.
  5. I am hoping Porcello continues to pitch well because it is good for the Red Sox.
  6. What do you guys think of Pomeranz on SD? I like his stuff. He is 27 years old. I wonder what the price would be.
  7. In my experience, Yankee fans are much better losers than they are winners. The opposite can be said of Red Sox fans who are good winners and lousy losers. The world is a peaceful place only when the Red Sox are winning and the Yankees losing.
  8. Hence, why I hate seeing his name in the lineup.
  9. Nice or not, s*** posting will not be tolerated. LOL! Jk, Yaz.
  10. I didn't understand the Young signing. I would still like to know our record when he plays vs when he doesn't and our run production when he plays vs when he doesn't play.
  11. When it comes to sports betting, you are the best that I know. I know some good sports gamblers -- mainly horse players. They are phenomenal handicappers, but I don't know of anyone that has as sophisticated a system for non-horse racing sports as you do.
  12. Result do matter, but I do feel like we stole a game from the Yankees that was theirs for the taking.
  13. Unless he runs into arm troubles, Syndegard is the most untouchable of the Mets young pitchers. Harvey an deGrom would be possible but expensive.
  14. The NLE has more than its share of idiot managers.
  15. 10 out of the first 20 Yankees batters reached base against Owens, but Owens led a charmed life with 4 DPs behind him -- one involving an OF assist at home and another on a strike em out throw em out on an attempted steal.
  16. Only 11 pitches by Kimbrel and 10 by Uehara. They should both be available tomorrow.
  17. I noticed. LOL!! I get a lot of things ass-backwards.
  18. 1,2 3 for the win. Nice win. Really nice. They hung in against a tough Tanaka when we had a nervous kid on the mound and they found a way to win. Nothing better than beating the Yankees.
  19. I am going with k, groundout and popup
  20. Horseface, ARod and McCann to face Kimbrel.
  21. Castro tried to barehand XB's ball up the middle? Huh? Papi for the lead with the 2 run bomb!!!
  22. Nice work by our hitters finally getting to Tanaka.
  23. Girardi deviated from the formula and he gave up the lead.
