Our hot streak was white hot and it locked down the Division, but when it ended it ended with a thud and the manager was not good enough to nurse them along until they got hot again. He could have helped manage them to HFA, but he had no sense of urgency about that. We lost the first 3 games on the road and game one was a nail biter. Also, in game 3, he had no urgency in the elimination game. He left Pom Pom who has be So-So on the mound in the 6th inning after the leadoff walk. That is the time to empty the pen. Ziegler, one of our best relievers went unused in game 3.

So did Maddon. He was very concerned about Cueto, because their bigger hitters have terrible numbers against him. Theo is definitely born under a lucky star to get out of there with a victory in game 4

Bochy should have stuck with Matt Moore in the 9th who had been dominant. A rare bad move by Bochy. Another bad move by Bochy was taking out Romo who would have faced Coughlin. Instead he went for the lefty to face Contreras. Very bad move by Bochy taking out Moore.

Cubs fighting back in the 9th and the Giants pen is garbage. Cubs with men on second and third and no one out. Giants up 5-3.

They showed Theo in the stands while Moore was shutting down his Cubs. The genius was oozing from his pores.

This Giants - Cubs game is very exciting. Almora just made an outstanding diving catch on a drive by Posey to double Belt off first base.

Conor Gillespie just put the Giants ahead of the Cubs beating Chapman and hanging a blown save on him in the 8th inning. Connor Gillespie?

Tito showed the killer-instinct in the series. Once he got us down, he went to his horses and locked it down. It was a fun year with a disappointing end. I too will be looking to fill some time now that the Red Sox are packing it in for 2016. Tomorrow I will mourn and then get ready for next season.
