I have been. I used to go to a place that when the brawls broke out they used to hit a buzzer that locked the door. It wasn't a good feeling when that happened. If you started the trouble, you knew that you were going to soon have a problem an it was going to hurt.

Today, Lombardi would be fined and reprimanded by the league. He worked his team harder than other coaches. He was a big believer in conditioning — lots of practices. -

Yeah, I was pissed at him too for the way he walked away from the Red Sox. I still don't know what happened with that situation, but I have to marvel at what he has been able to do at an advanced age with 8 -10 mph less on his fastball than in his Cy Young year and no breaking ball.

So, then we can't say for sure if Kelly intentionally hit Austin. Edit: But the league was certain enough about Kelly's intent that they leveled a 6 game suspension.

Well, today when Betts got injured and our 4th OFer was playing DH we needed the extra OFer.

He went for Holt's leg that was no where near the base. He stuck out his leg to the left, No one slides to the base and sticks his front leg out to the left to miss the bag. He went for Holt's leg pure and simple. It was a dick move, because there was no DP that was being turned. You are right that there is no "probably" in this case. It was far too obvious for Austin or anyone else to deny accountability. Austin had a drill job coming. I just wish that Vasquez lowered his shoulder into Austin's back and took him to the ground before he reached Kelly.
