  1. I don’t think it is that even.
  2. Does Price have a hunting trip planned?
  3. Who hasn’t had a morning like that?
  4. Me too, and Harper deserved to get choked out.
  5. Fair enough. It might facilitate the process if you don’t read my posts through a hate filter.
  6. And I am much funnier in person.
  7. A sense of humor can be unifying characteristic.
  8. You clearly have led a clean and sheltered life.
  9. And no one is arguing that it isn’t a combination of factors. The discussion is over which factor has had the biggest influence. Do you think that each of the factors has had the exact same degree of influence?
  10. OMG, is this directed at me? You are constantly sniping. LOL! Actually, this was somewhat humorous. I can find humor even when the snark is directed at me. Can you?
  11. Spud makes snarky remarks as many do on this board. He usually doesn’t mention anyone by name when he drops those comments. You and your little group that like to pile on are thin skinned and think everything is dlrected at you personally. It is not. You need to get over yourselves and develop a sense of humor.
  12. I didn’t watch a minute of it. The entire season is a Home Run Derby. We saw a pretty spectacular Home Run Derby when Price last pitched against the Yankees.
  13. They have told these stories numerous times on NESN, WEEI and possibly some of the Nationally broadcasted games, but I guess that it doesn’t exist for some people in the Internet age unless there is a link. LOL!
  14. May Shields is a Hunter.
  15. I agree. It is also not baseless speculation as it has been reported numerous times how other players are observing him and his preparation. Some players are having their BP video taped like he does. He has been open about sharing his knowledge with his mates. There was a mentorship void when Ortiz left. During his tenure , he watched a ton of video and he was a master at spotting pitchers’ tendencies. He would often bring some of the guys into the video room to show them what he had spotted. This is not speculation. It does have an effect.
  16. What would make him cheap would also make him undesirable to acquire. The Mets are at the end of their patience with him. Before his arm injury, he was very frustrating with high pitch counts and lots of walks. He seemed to be gettin his act together right before his surgery. Post surgery, he has been regained his form as a frustratingly inconsistent pitcher. He might be adequate for our 5th slot, but I wouldn’t offer much for him.
  17. Hopefully, just happy cheer.
  18. No naysaying about our Sox.
  19. A prorated portion of his $5 million salary would seem to fit the budget.
  20. And the authors of those obscure articles usually acknowledge (if honest) that there studies are not dispositive proof.
  21. No one said that he didn't have talents.
  22. I would work for the Red Sox as an usher if given the chance. Edit: I am retired. i don't need the money and just love to be around baseball.
  23. That is the spirit of a good discussion and healthy exchange of ideas.
  24. Plus, he makes the best latte ever served in a Major League front office.
  25. A good night sleep might improve your cognition.
