    You don’t have to buy it. It is always just an opinion. Managers surely make mistakes. They are human. Do observers get it right when they call a manager’s move a mistake. That is surely imprecise, but it is worthy of discussion.

    And in my opinion that would be a mistake in light of Moreland's record as a PHer and his head to head stat against Rodney of 6 for 10.

    Even that is pretty far from crucifying. Why would anyone want to read a book about a baseball manager? I loved Tito, but his book is not on my list. Saying that he managed a game like a rookie manager is pretty light criticism. Boston is a tough sports town. Cora hasn’t seen anything close to the dark side of Boston Sports coverage, but eventually he will.

    And our manager will not take him out at 75 pitches and 5 innings after giving up 1 hit. Girardi's handling of him was ridiculously robotic.

    I was not wild about getting Eovoldi, but he looked darned good today.

    When Eovaldi pitched for the Yankees, Girardi rarely let him face the order a 3rd time, even when he was cruising I remember an outing where he gave up 1 hit and hat 10k's on 75 pitches after 5 innings and Girardi removed him without the slightest sign of trouble. I like that type of idiocy from Yankee mangers.

    I am amazed that he is not dead. I can't believe that he caught it. What a catch! I can't remember seeing any better.

    Most guys who hit that ball would get a single, because the of grass would slow the ball down enough for the LFer to get over for it. JD hits the ball so hard that the wall has to stop the ball.
