  1. Last 2 games to this point: Betts 0-11 Bogaerts 0-10 JD 0-6 0 -27 total. Big Papi would say. "Somebody is going to pay."
  2. His error changed the entire momentum of that series and the Red Sox went down after that.
  3. Cora should have known that ERod can never get through 6 innings no matter how good he has been in the first 5 innings.
  4. The Dodgers were at 0 until the mistake.
  5. Bellinger is too fast to attempt that play.
  6. In the World Series, the team that makes the mistakes, usually loses.
  7. The great disappearing offense. Our offense is performing like we are facing Koufax and Drysdale in the early 1960's.
  8. Isn't this about the time of the game where Rich Hill gets a blister?
  9. Can ERod beat the throw to first if they get the out at second on the bunt?
  10. I love Mookie, but WTF is wrong with him. If he was 50% of what he can do, we'd be up 3-0 in this series. I keep waiting for him to bust out. I think he needs a slap from Jim Rice.
  11. Betts continues to stink up the joint. There's no rationalizing it away. He's just sucking.
  12. Are his wheels that bad since the knee operation and the ankle injury?
  13. If Vasquez was 5'5", that ball would have been gone.
  14. Like I said, it was the only move for which he could be criticized. Did it blow up in his face? Not really except to the extent that Kinsler made the subsequent error. That's a reach to blame him for that. The team was completely flat offensively and we still almost won. I don't expect Betts and Bogaerts to set another record for offensive futility. 0 for 7 and 0 for 8 is atrociously bad.
  15. It is a great game, but ruining it is not beyond the stupidity an greed of those who run it.
  16. The game was so long that I got a little punchy in the extra innings. How did Vasquez end up at 1B for Moreland?
  17. Last night I complained about some of Cora's game moves, especially that we were left with a late inning spring training lineup in extra innings. Before Max goes all Mrs. Cora on me, I am thinking more clearly now than in the heat of the moment. Nothing Cora did blew up on us. He started Bradley over Beny and that turned out to be a good move. Bradley had the best offensive night of any of our players. The pitching decisions were aimed to win and we almost did, but for Kinsler's error. I didn't agree with pinch running for JD. That was probably my biggest peeve, and probably the only really legitimate bad move that Cora made because it deprived us of several JD ABs and replaced it with Kinsler ABs. That might have the one bad decision that cost us the game. I would not have pitched to Puig, but that didn't blow up in his face, because Puig's hit should not have score the tying run. After that, Cora did a good job in the extra innings with what he had.
  18. It is a game to tell our children and grandchildren about, but never watch again.
  19. It is. I leave it up to Cora. LOL!!!
  20. Still no starter announced for tomorrow. I would go with Sale.
  21. The Aztec gods failed us tonight.
