Coco's first Fenway hit and RBI. Speed kills.
  2. a700hitter
two hit from HArris. I just upgraded him to 1/4.
  3. a700hitter
    Here's fraction... let's call him 1/8th
  4. a700hitter
AGons average continues to go up. .250 from him for the year would be more than enough considering what he brings to the defense.
  5. a700hitter
The Yankees have used 4 pitchers already, and they may need to go to Mo for a two inning save to put away the fearsome Royals.
  6. a700hitter
That was some kind of barehanded play by Lowell.
  7. a700hitter
Crawford is having some problems today in thefield and on the bases. Did he get any sleep last night?
  8. a700hitter
Retraction: If he's not a zero, he's a mere fraction, but calling him fraction is just plain stupid.
  9. a700hitter
Here's the zero again. 3-0, take 3 pitches... uh oh, a double! the blind squirrel theory.
  10. a700hitter
This is why he has to stay in the lineup. He's the best fielder on the field.
  11. a700hitter
Steve Phillips is an imbecile. He predicted that Slammin Sammy would hit 50+ homers for the Orioles last year. Ever since I heard him make that prediction, I never take him seriously.
  12. a700hitter
That zero Harris leads off next inning. Ughhh!
  13. a700hitter
5 1/3 inning and 3 runs by Wright -- Another quality start by a Yankee starter? But seriously why the hook by Torre? Had Wright thrown a lot of pitches?
  14. a700hitter
Here' Willie Harris the automatic out. ...and he doesn't disappoint.
  15. a700hitter
THis kid knows how to get people out. In ST he didn't strikeout a lot of people, but he went unscored upon for the entire ST even though sometimes it wasn't pretty. At every level of ball, he gets out and gives up very few runs. I think the FO has to stop worrying about him being overpowering people and his K ratio and realize that he consistently puts up 0's. Don't try to make the kid something that he is not.
  16. a700hitter
    There goes the shutout.
  17. a700hitter
Nice pickoff of Crawford by Loretta and Wakefield. Crawford running the bases with his head up his ass today. He should have been on 3rd when Belli threw the ball into CF.
  18. a700hitter
Why not play Youk in LF and Snow at 1B again? Why is Tito subjecting us to Willie Harris on a daily basis?
  19. a700hitter
Wells was riding the stationary bike today, so the swelling must be going down.
  20. a700hitter
I don't think anyone says that now... at least no anybody with any credibility.
  21. a700hitter
Dominant Mo-type relievers are not a dime a dozen.
  22. a700hitter
But if WMP can't go, that will leave us with a bottom 4 of Harris, AGon, Belli, and Snow. I don't like that. That spells low run production for Wakefield. They should put Crisp in the starting lineup tomorrow. Even if his timing is off, he's a thousand times better than Willie Harris.
  23. a700hitter
That would be the cruelest blow of all. Nothing sadder than an aging matinee idol.
  24. a700hitter
The funny farm doesn't seem like much fun.
  25. a700hitter
    Lucky bastard.
